    Week 12

In week 12, we investigate those who score at a high rate. The ability to score is valuable in all walks of life. These guys have a nose for the end zone, converting a high rate of their touches into touchdowns.

    Laurence Maroney NE 91 8 11.38
    Maurice Jones-Drew JAC 234 20 11.70
    Steven Jackson STL 223 17 13.12

On the flip side, nobody likes to be denied a chance to score. Unfortunately for these guys this season, they just haven't been able to close the deal very often (if at all) this year.

Least Prolific Scorers - Running Backs (minimum 50 rush attempts)

Player Team Rush Att Rush TD TD/ATT
Justin Forsett SEA 72 0 INF
Julius Jones SEA 56 0 INF
    Knowshown Moreno DEN 122 2 61.0
    Jonathan Dwyer SEA 57 1 57.0
    Ray Rice BAL 112 2 56.0

Least Prolific Scorers - Receivers/Tight Ends (minimum 20 receptions)

Player Team Rec Rec TD TD/Rec
Vincent Jackson SD 33 0 INF
Jeff King CAR 23 0 INF
    Chris Cooley WAS 38 1 38.00
    Jermaine Gresham CIN 37 1 37.00
    Ed Dickson BAL 35 1 35.00

Author Commentary: Interesting note - the Seattle Seahawks have just 1 rushing TD on the entire season in 217 rushing attempts. Bates, what gives??? :)

    Blame my offensive line.

Or maybe I just run it up the middle too much.
