Looks like 6 guys were claimed on waivers..All were mistakes by me when trying to cut to a 25 man active roster. You all are welcome My charity here is over
What happens when/if I straight release a guy? What happens to their salaries? does it free up against my budget or allow for room for extensions or FA's next year?
If you release a guy, it tells you how much it will cost you. Their entire contract is added to your expenses for the current season.
We're doing them in the mornings now to ease the load on the servers. The site has been getting crushed with the Madden and NCAA news from E3, and they couldn't afford to have them extra load of uploading the file while we're getting slammed with 250+ visitors to the site. At least from my understanding. I believe next sim will go back to normal times.
Yeah what he said. 45GB of traffic yesterday. The upload takes upwards of 20-30 minutes and hammers the bandwidth. Saturday's sim will be on time
say i have $5M for draft expenses and i give my first pick a $5M bonus, as long as the rest of my picks are "slot" i can still sign them right. i only have $66K available for free agents.
I need some tips. How are you guys getting so much production out of some no so talented players? How do you set your pitchers up? Is it just a "luck" thing? I simply can not get some guy to perform... Pitcher Neftali Feliz comes to mind.
Baseball is a game of consistency and sometimes if guys get into ruts, they can't get out. Be sure to monitor their morale but sometimes it's the choices you make. So much like real life it's ridiculous.
Yeah what Frisk said.... It's a alot of luck. Obviously you have guys who perform consistently with their ratings year in year out for the most part. You also have guys who perform much better than their ratings. And guys who perform worse. Sometimes they get ratings changes because of it. The easiest thing to remember is that stats don't lie... As for pitchers in particular? The defense behind them helps their performance
