We are now about midway through the season and its time to separate the men from the girls. This time I have compared old stats to new, if your guy is not back on there he did not improve enough to make the cut, but that doesn't mean he wont be in future editions.

    Boston College

    Montel Harris - HB - 124 Att, 912 yards, 14 TD, 0 Fumbles

This kids second appearance in the OCMVP and he is still bringing some respect for the Eagles. He is on pace to break 1500 yards and 20 TD's

    Georgia Tech

    Orwin Smith - HB - 126 Att, 855 yards, 12 TDs, 1 Fumble

Still impressing me, hasn't coughed up the ball since the last Edition and has found the endzone 5 more times. This kid is flying under the radar as a favorite.

    Maryland

    Davin Meggett - HB - 174 Att, 956 yards, 13 TD, 0 Fumbles

The ACC must be all about the running game. This kid is THE backbone of the Terrapin offense, he is putting up huge numbers and carrying his team.

    Michigan

    Michael Shaw - HB - 159 Att, 744 yards, 9 TD, 2 Fumbles

Koach Vonner has breathed some new life into the Wolverine running game which has suffered the last three years. If Shaw can keep from losing the ball, he could raise some eyebrows.

    Michigan State

    Edwin Baker - HB - 151 Att, 948 yards, 7 TD, 0 Fumbles

Another HB who has to carry the team due to a dismal passing attack. Let's hope Baker can keep healthy and turn things around for Sparty.

    Notre Dame

    Cierre Wood - HB - 168 Att, 1023 yards, 11 TD, 1 Fumble

Still plowing through the Big Ten as though its nothing, Notre Dame continues to be the dark horse. Will this kid help them claim their first ever B1G Championship?

    Virginia Tech

    Logan Thomas - QB - 105/165, 1745 yards, 22 TD, 9 INT

The only QB out of all of us who can throw worth a damn. Coach RyanC once again puts us all to shame and stands alone as the best QB in the Orange Crush.

    Wisconsin

    James White - HB - 131 Att, 845 yards, 8 TD, 0 Fumbles

He gets the yardage but so far only 1 TD more than last Edition. He is hanging in there but just barely. Look for Wisconsin to push this kid harder.

    Top 3
    1) Cierre Wood - HB - Notre Dame
    2) Logan Thomas - QB - Virginia Tech
    3) Montel Harris - HB - Boston College

    Congrats!

Nice post, I guess Ryan Houston fell off the map. He hasn't done too much lately. Nobody is really standing out on the Tar Heels squad, it's been more of an all around team effort so far.
