    Oregon - 21
    Penn State - 35

Penn State goes right into Oregon and walks out with a big win to keep its No. 1 ranking. The Ducks defense just gave up too many big plays to keep pace with Lions. Oregon QB Mark Jenkins threw for 222 yards (I think) and one touchdown while senior HB Townes ran for two TD's and 62 yards on 17 attempts.

Both Wilson and Robertson had sacks for the defense while senior MLB Nate Sanders had a big pick early in the game in the Penn State redzone.

Oregon had a chance to climb back into the game in the 4th quarter. Trailing by 14, Oregon was driving the ball and right around 20 yard line, Jenkins ran a QB choice but was hit which produced a fumble that PSU jumped on to end the comeback bid.

Oregon takes care of things vs. Washington State in a game that was never in doubt. The Ducks started off by scoring the game's first 14 points to set the tone early. Jenkins had his best day as a duck tossing 3 TD's and hitting a high % of his targets.

The two-headed RB duo of Jack and Townes ran for 45 and 60+ yards respectively with Townes adding two touchdowns and Jack scoring another.

The Green and Gold defense produced two turnovers while keeping the offense in check most of the day.

    UCLA - 32
    Oregon - 25

Oregon suffered a heartbreaking loss at the hands of UCLA that came down to a TD throw by the Bruins' backup QB with just seconds left on the clock to cap off a wild game. UCLA would have its way with the Ducks' defense for most of the afternoon as the only bright spot of the day for the Oregon D was an interception.

However, the Oregon offense kept hopes alive as the Ducks were able to answer almost all of UCLA's scores thanks to gutsy efforts by QB Mark Jenkins, who ran for 40+ yards and had a nice throwing day too, and senior RB Townes who had several scores.

The Ducks would score with just over a minute left in the game to make the score score 24-23. Since the Oregon defense had no answer for the UCLA offense overtime was not an option that the Ducks cared to explore. With that in mind, Oregon gave the ball to its senior RB and left him go up the middle to score to go up 25-24.

UCLA was then able to regroup in move down the field. After moving the ball into field goal range, the Bruins, who were down to their backup QB at this point, fired a pass to the right side of the endzone where a Bruin WR was waiting to grab the game winning score.

After the game, the coach tmac6412 could be heard mumbling, "Nice work idiot, that's two big games you've lost in the final seconds thanks to dropping into the freaking cover 3."

(Great game recchem2000, take care of things the rest of the season.)

The Sun Devil D shutdown the Ducks for most of the game, but the Oregon defense scored off of two pick-6's to lead the way. The Oregon defense had 12 TFL's and five sacks. On Offense, Townes and Jenkins once again combined for over 100 yards. The win pushes Oregon to 4-3 on the season.
