The 2013 season kicks off for the Ducks with lots of question marks. Will Hawkins be able to not turn the ball over and keep his starting position? Will Seastrunk be able to stay healthy and flourish in the new offense? Will the Ducks linebackers step up? Will the offensive line be able to protect Hawkins? The areas of strength this season are the wide receivers and cornerbacks. The top 3 WRs from last year return while the Ducks corners also return and look to make a few more plays this year. Seastrunk is a beast out of the backfield and Coach Slim has brought in a new offensive coordinator in hopes of him focusing the offense around the ground game. It will be an interesting season watching so many new starters step in and contribute. Coach Slim took a page out of his old boss Steve Spurrier's book in breaking down his team "Honestly I just don't think we're that good this year. We don't have enough playmakers and we don't have enough talent. We may surprise a few teams but I think we'd be lucky to beat out Washington this year."
