    Ducks Fall to Trojans

On Saturday there was a shootout at the Rose Bowl. The Ducks and Trojans battled it out in a PAC-10 showdown. The game was full of excitement and was neck and neck until the last tic. The Trojans attempted to pull away with a 10 point lead with only 3 minutes left in the 4th quarter. The Ducks would run a perfectly executed hurry up offense and put 7 on the board. As a last attempt at glory the Ducks recovered an onside kick with seconds remaining but failed to tally up the points. Coach Sabo said "we have nothing to hang our heads about , we played a good game and lost to a good team. we gave it our all but fell short, there is always next year "

The Oregon Ducks prevailed again Saturday against rival Washington. The Ducks would take a early first quarter 14 point lead. The Huskies rallied and tied the game up in the second quarter with their passing game. The Ducks took a 21-14 lead into the half. The Ducks came out in the second half and continued to frustrate the Huskies who were completing passes and getting first downs however could not complete the drives. The final Oregon 31 Washington 14.

Coach Sabo said "This was by far not our best performance on offense. We were just able to take advantage on the turnovers and capitalize. We have alot of preparation before the we take on Georgia next week.
