    Oregon Game Summaries

    #12 Oregon 35 #14 Boise State 0

A cold wet afternoon in Boise didn't turn out well for the home team. Each team threw 3 interceptions, but the Ducks were the only team able to capitalize.

LeGarrette Blount opened the score with a seven yard run from the Wild Duck formation. He would finish the game 139 yards and two scores.

Jeremiah Masoli brushed off the 3 interceptions to throw for over 200 yards and 3 TDs. He also ran the option very efficiently, finishing with 56 yards on the ground.

Boise State was held to only 105 yards of total offense; completing only 8 passes.

Oregon will play host to Purdue next week.

Masoli finished with 218 yards and those 2 scores. He also combined with Blount for 165 rushing yards on 38 carries.

Next up for Oregon is #23 Utah.

    #9 Oregon 31 #21 Utah 14

Oregon's defense held Utah to 197 yards of total offense while the Duck offense played efficient turnover free football in a 31-14 victory. Oregon's rushing attack would manage under 3 yards per carry, but Masoli had a near perfect afternoon as he completed 13 of 16 passes for 168 yards and 2 scores.

Oregon was only up 20-14 going into the 4th quarter, but they controlled the clock and tacked on a TD and a FG in their only two 4th quarter possessions. Utah, however, was unable to get anything going late. This was a huge win for Oregon as they had a number of top recruits in attendance.

Next up for Oregon is #11 Cal.

    Cal 38 Oregon 31

Oregon got off to a great start; returning an interception on the first play for a touchdown. However, the Ducks struggled at times on both sides of the ball and ultimately lost a heart-breaker to Cal.

Cal went to the 4-4 often against the spread to take away the run and also apply pressure in the passing game. Masoli was never completely comfortable but the Ducks were forced to be mostly one dimensional.

Oregon also struggled to stop Cal from converting on 3rd down as Cal always seems to find a receiver open when they needed one.

Next up for Oregon is Washington State.

The Ducks rebounded in a big way by dominating the Cougars in every aspect of the game.

Masoli finished 12 of 15 for 210 yards and 2 TDs through the air. He also added 71 yards on 16 attempts with 2 TDs.

Blount carried the ball 14 times; gaining 124 yards and scoring 2 TDs.

The Oregon defense held Washington State to under 200 yards of total offense.

Next up for Oregon is a trip to face UCLA.
