    Oregon St. Beavers

Oregon St. wins ugly at home against Cincinnati, 19-0. The 1st half pretty much was a defensive slugfest as the Beavers managed two field goals to make 9-0 at the half. after adding another FG to make 12-0, in the middle of the of the 3rd, Sean Canfield hooked up with James Rodgers to make it 19-0 and put the game out of reach.

Oregon St. finally has an offensive explosion winning 41-7 at Arizona St. Sean Canfield was Coach's player of the game throwing for 300 yds and 3 TD's. Oregon State take on Stanford next at home.

Oregon St. continues its winning ways this time 36-35 against Stanford. Sean Canfirld had another great day passing throwing for 3 td's, but it was the run game that was the X-Factor. Jacquizz Rodgers rushed for 154 yds on 34 carries and 2TD's. Stanford made it close but a decision to punt with 3:45 was costly. The Beavers got the ball and never gave it back, running the ball 12 straight time to kill the clock.

The Beavers leave the comfort of home and head into Death Valley to take on LSU in what Coach Gwill2588 calls the "Hell Stretch" of the schedule, playing 3 of the next 4 on the road @LSU, @USC, home for UCLA, and ending @ CAL. If the Beavers can take 3 or all 4 wins, a BCS berth might be in the future for Oregon State.

Oregon State falls for the first time in 09 losing 38-21 to LSU. Coach Gwill2588 was thorughly disapponited with his team's perfomance saying "This was a game to make a statement, and we did. We showed that if we play like this the rest of the year, its not going to be pleasant." The offensive line had its worst performance yet, giving up 8 sacks, including a LSU school record 5 sacks for one player. "After the game I told the line, Sean cant throw the ball laying on his back. This week we're shaking things up on the line to find good rhythm." The lone bright spot was Jacquizz Rodgers rushing for 2TD's and 100 yds.

Coach Gwill also added "I give LSU a ton of credit, they capitalized redzone miscues that could changed the game. We have to put this game behind us and get ready for USC. They're hungry, they want payback for last year, and if we play like we did this week they're going to get and more. One of our goals is to win the PAC-10, and to do that we have beat the King of the Mountain, which means we need our A++ game next week and it starts with practice.

Oregon State takes on USC in L.A. next week.

Oregon St heads into the Coliseum to face USC and comes out victorious 19-7. A defensive game all around as the Beavers had to rely on the leg of P/K Jonny Hekker to make 4 FG's. USC made things close on a 26 yd TD late in the 3rd Quarter, but on a 4th and 12 with 1:20 to go, Oregon St forced a Joe McKnight fumble for a score toake it 19-7 and put the game away.

Oregon St. is now 6-1, and takes on UCLA at home.
