Oregon State Beavers 2012 Season Preview With the Departure of the Rodgers Brothers, many are questioning the potential of this season for the Beavs. However, this coach is up for the challenge. Unfortunately, we won't know the level of talent on our teams until after July 12th when we roll into camp. With the potential lack of an NFL Season, the Beavs could be the sole source of pigskin entertainment in Corvallis this year. The delay in the start of the preseason has also not allowed the coach to identify his offensive or defensive schemes. In his career, he has historically chosen the 3-3-5 with WVU and the 4-3 with UF. On offense the stolen playbook of Fresno State has been the playbook of choice but our talent will dictate our approach to the season. Although we anticipate several OOC Game Changes, the tentative 2012 schedule has been released. The coach is excited and hopes to at least make the games competitive especially in front of our rabid fans. The Willamette Valley is known for its Cold Wet Falls with Rain Starting in September and continuing well into the Following April. Our fans expect success and if we want to keep them in the stands, we need to keep our fans engaged in the football season we need to make it worth their while.
