Alright, let's keep this civil. I value everyones perspective, just curious.

For me? It's Pac. Biggie is so smooth and "You're Nobody" is one of my favorite hip hop songs of all time, but Pac just transcends music. He's prophetic, and incredibly versatile. Pretty sure he listed Sinatra and Don McLean as two of his biggest influences. If you listen to him enough, you can see that he has such a variety of influences incorporated into his music. I really can appreciate that.

    B.I.G.

Didnt Tupac go to Juilliard and also work as a backup dancer? Then did gangster rap?

(Not saying he wasnt a great rapper or anything. I really like Tupac. I think he was most famous for his image though, which wasnt exactly "real")

On the night of November 30, 1994, the day before the verdict in his sexual abuse trial was to be announced, Shakur was shot five times and robbed after entering the lobby of Quad Recording Studios in Manhattan by two armed men in army fatigues. He would later accuse Sean Combs,[42] Andre Harrell, and Biggie Smalls—whom he saw after the shooting—of setting him up. Shakur also suspected his close friend and associate, Randy "Stretch" Walker, of being involved in the attempt. According to the doctors at Bellevue Hospital, where he was admitted immediately following the incident, Shakur had received five bullet wounds; twice in the head, twice in the groin and once through the arm and thigh. He checked out of the hospital, against doctor's orders, three hours after surgery.

yea, and Big L had an entire clip emptied into his face about a block away from where he grew up. That doesnt mean that anything he said in his raps about killing people and being a thug were true.

I dont know what the "Thug Life" entails, but Im pretty sure it doesnt include going to art school (on the east coast) and being a backup dancer for a one-hit wonder. What you describe happened after his image was already created.

I love both of them. Pac had a quicker delivery and Big was more laid back. They both were very gifted lyrically and off the charts performers. They both died way too early.

Edit: For voting purposes I give a slight edge to Pac.

I'd probably put Pac ahead of Biggie, in terms of talent and the 'awe' I'd feel after listening to his music. But I voted Biggie because his music is a lot easier to listen to, consistently, one after the other for me.
