Green Bay started the game off the way they seem to start the last few. Letting the opponent score. This time it was by run and Darren Sproles ran in from 27 yards out to take a quick 7-0 lead over the Pack in a rainy Lambeau field. The Packers first play of the game ended poorly as Rodgers continues to be in a funk. His first throw was intercepted by the Jets. They would capitalize and on their first play of that drive, Hardin finds Colston wide open from 32 for a quick 14-0 Jets lead. Green Bay would fight back as Rodgers would TE Rodriguez for a score to pull within 7. The Jets would quickly rebound and this time Winslow hauls in a 21 yard Hardin pass to put the Jets back up by 14, 21-7 with seconds left in the first quarter.

Green Bay huddled their defensive troops and threw out their gameplan. What they were doing wasn't working, obviously.

Aaron Rodgers would strike quickly back with a 63 yard scoring pass to get Green Bay back to within 7. Green Bay would miss a 50 yard field goal in the rain which gave the Jets a decent opportunity before the half, but the D would answer and not allow a score.

Green Bay would get one drive going but a fumble would end any momentum in the third quarter.

Fourth quarter and both defenses were now playing lights out. Finally, Aaron Rodgers would break the Jets defense and find speedster Steven Amber for 43 yards and the score to tie up the game. The Jets would answer back and go on a long drive. The Jets were able to get it to the Packers 7 yard line at the 2 minute warning with the game tied. Green Bay would only have 2 timeouts. The Packers decided to let the Jets score but a member of the defense didn't get the message and made a nice tackle on Sproles. Timeout. Another handoff by Sproles that went for a couple yards. Timeout. Facing third and goal from the 3, the Jets drop back and try a pass Calvin Johnsons way. Green Bay's SS Roberts jumps the route and drops the for sure interception. The Jets would have to settle for a Stephen Gostokowski 20 yard field goal with 1:45 left in the game, 24-21. Facing no timeouts, down by 3, Rodgers huddled the group. Green Bay was used to this scenario as they practiced it the entire first season of Madden not by choice. Whenever Green Bay needed a first down, they went to Jermichael Finley who would always seem to be open. This drive was no different as he keyed a few crucial first downs. The Packers would get the ball down to the Jets 5 yard line and the clock ticking, Rodgers drops back and throws an incompletion to stop the clock with 7 seconds left on the clock. Rodgers on the next play would find Steven Amber once again from 5 yards out to give Green Bay their first lead of the game with 5 seconds left. It also turned out to be the game winner.
