Aaron Rodgers looked like his old self for the first time since new owner CSteud took over the team in 2013 leading Green Bay past Chicago 27-17. Rodgers threw for 301 yards and 3 TD's, but more importantly only threw 1 interception. Possessing one of the leagues worst offenses the Packers shook things up with the signing of FA running back Cyrus Gray. In just 2 games of action Gray has already carried the ball as many times as starter Eddie Lacy who's played in 12. Although his YPC is lower than both Lacy and DeJuan Harris, Gray seems to be getting most touches and according to the coaching staff look for that trend to continue.

This week 12 game was a battle back and forth with neither teams defense able to make many stops. Chicago started the game on offense and they marched methodically down field eating away most of the first quarter. Matt Forte ended the drive with a 5 yard catch from Cutler. Green Bay then had its turn. Much like the Bears, Green Bay moved downfield and tied the game 7-7 with a Rodgers/Jerrell Jernigen hook up. Unfazed, the Bears again marched right back downfield. This time Cutler connected with Jacoby Jones for a 27 yard TD giving the Bears back the lead. The Packers added a FG before halftime but trailed 14-10. Green Bay had the ball to start the third quarter and again moved down field. They took the lead back with Rodgers' second TD pass, this time to Laurent Robinson 17-14 Packers. Chicago tied it back up with a FG early in the fourth. With the ball, tied in the fourth quarter Aaron Rodgers again had the ball in his hands, but not for long. From his own 33 Aaron lofted a pretty pass over the CB who had no shot and no help. Randall Cobb hauled it in and took it home for a 67 yard TD. Green Bay picked of Jay Cutler on Chicago's side of the field and put the game away with a FG.

GG Zikry I look foward to many more

Close game to the very end. Nice recap Chris. Big win for you standing only 2 games out. Can Rodgers keep things turned around and get the Pack into the playoffs?....
