Packers faced the Lions in Detroit. Packers came into this game extremely hungover and tired. They fought through and Rodgers found a streaking rookie of the year candidate WR Steven Amber for a 60 yard score. The Lions retaliated and kicked a FG. With 30 seconds left in the half, Rodgers found Greg Jennings for a TD. Instead of kneeling on the ball, Stafford opts to pass with the full length of the field to go. The Packers intercept the pass and with 13 seconds left, 2 passes into the endzone go incomplete. Packers settle for a FG to lead 17-3 into half. The Lions would find life in the second. A rare Rodgers interception is returned for a touchdown. The Lions defense stiffened and they got the ball back and scored again. Game tied at 17. Midway through the 4th, Jermichael Finley would break a few tackles and go 50 yards for a td. Pack 24-17. With under a minute to play, Stafford would find Scaife over the middle for the score to tie the game up. On the ensuing kickoff, rookie Steven Amber would go 99 yards for the gamewinning TD.
