Aaron Rodgers started the game off the way the preseason went by throwing 2 interceptions to Carlos Rodgers. The 49ers only managed a FG off those 2 turnovers. A fumble by the 49ers led to a Packers FG to knot up the score 3-3. Midway through the second, the 49ers took advantage of a run aggresive defense and Alex Smith hits Randy Moss for a 59 yard touchdown. Late in the first half, the 49ers were driving but MD Jennings stepped in front of an Alex Smith pass and took it with seconds left in the half. The game was tied up at 10. Alex Smith started the third quarter the same way he ended the second. This time it was Tramon Williams stepping in front of his pass and took it to the house putting up the Packers 17-10. A few series later, Rodgers connects with Greg Jennings on a 72 yard touchdown pass, 24-10. San Fran kept creeping back into the game however. After a San Fran fg, the Packers are forced to point. Alex Smith found a wide open Manningham for a long TD pass to get within 4. The next Packer series finds Rodgers hitting Jennings on another long pass as he beat the press coverage. Not to be outdone Smith hit Manningham on another long TD pass in blown coverage to get back within 4. Green Bay was able to run out the clock to hold on to the win.

    Jennings - 3 catches 168 yards, 2 tds

    Manningham - 3 catches 155 yards, 2 tds

Good one Troy...those back to back pick 6's hurt like hell and put me in a hole I couldnt come out of. We brought the pressure and paid for it twice. We couldnt put Rodgers on his ass when we needed to...and threw some costly picks that made the difference in this game.

    GL with the rest!
