Just got an update on NCAA 11 for 360, but not sure what it is for.
Looks like its to get uniforms dirty @ least that what the guys on OS are saying.
Did EA fix the punt return glitch where if a penalty is called on return team if punt returner gets hit he fumbles an extreme amount of time?
Updated the first post.
Im very happy about the QB running backward issue. Its only certain plays that are probably crap, but it still helps.
That is an impressive list of improvements. I'm especially happy with the WR dropping every ball in which a DB touches him tweak.
I read on OS that the progression issue is still there for XBOX360 though ...Any truth to that?
Sounds good, looking forward to seeing what the differences are like.
Blaza don't think they ever said they were addressing progression. as far as i know its still 1 to 6 overall a year (assuming based on a hidden potential rating).
the change they made was to have new recruits come in their freshman year a few overall higher.
also keep in mind most people on the OS forums are legally retarded.
I thought the last tweak or whatever fixed the progression too or was supposed to..maybe not.
Good list, seems at least the NCAA crew at EA listen and care about things we bring up rather then getting all butt hurt..
1-6 seems like a pretty good range fro progression doesnt it? As long as one or two arent killing your team every season and the game mixes in fives and sixes.
Well that's an impressive list if nothing else. Hopefully it's effective enough but not to effective. I'm half expecting my players to look like they just played in the mud bowl next game.
so does it go into current Od's or not?
It's retroactive. It effects everything.
The live tuner pack #1 addressed progression and the OVR of incoming players. People are saying it's still a bit too low, though. I don't have any evidence to prove one way or the other.
from notes with the last tune ...
so for most teams progression wasn't touched. just the lower end teams.
I actually think its spot on. I've had some 5 star recruits come in rated in the low 80's and I've had some 3 stars come in anywhere from 69 to high 70's so I think its a nice balance.
I simulated some seasons and it seems to be much better. Guys seem to progress more.
Every NCAA game I have had, has had a little problem with progression. You really only see it when all the real players are gone. Usually by year 6 you start to see some weird stuff. It has never really been a problem for me and dynasty mode is all I ussually play. I play every game and really spend time with the recruiting and I usually just get to year 6 or 7 by the time I am ready for the next year of the game. So unless you really get far I don't think it's a problem.
Love all the fixes! It has made, the best NCAA football game, even better.
Anybody else feel insulted by the last paragraph? especially the last line.
Who else would the tunings be for at this point? He is probably a Madden cheeser.
at least he didn't include the "hey this game is wicked complicated - so we're bound to make mistakes" nonsense from the last one.
I dont feel insulted. You think he was being sarcastic or something?
people are muy sensative, i dont think he was taking shots at anyone, more like saying this is for us loyal dedicated non season ncaa communities
The CPu just got harder lol. Many cases the RB would get into the open field and would act like he's still protecting the football causing him to slow down.
The dropping of passes affected completion % so it should normalize a bit.
Does this mean they fixed the punt return glitch where the punt returner would fumble almost every time being hit when there was a penalty called before he caught the ball?
I know I asked this already but the first post was updated since I asked and it mentions about WRs. Just wondering if that included punt returns as well.
i see they also released a new turner set today
