    Dolphins shut out Pats, 27-0

Miami -- The Miami Dolphins opened up the regular season of Hard Knocks with a stunning performance against the powerhouse Patriots.

The Dolphins jumped out to a 7-0 lead thanks to a long run by newly acquired HB Reggie Bush. Bush ran straight up the middle, breaking a tackle in route to the eventual game winning touchdown.

But for the Dolphins, it was the defense that shined. The Patriots could only muster 66 total yards in the game and Brady was picked off 3 times, 2 of those by OLB Jason Taylor.

With the defense playing lights out, Chad Henne had the ability to play a conservative game without having to do too much and compete with the Golden Boy. Henne was 12 of 16 for 173 yards with 1 TD and 1 INT.

    Other stats to note:

    Bush: 7 attempts, 104 yards, 1 TD
    Marshall: 5 receptions, 108 yards, 1 TD
