Starting the season off with 3 starters injured in week 1 and 2 in week 2 is not the way any team wants to start a year. Nonetheless, thats exactly where the Patriots are at. Throw in a new qb and who knows what you might get. On the 1st drive the Pats moved the ball but for some reason things seemed a lil off to Coach Pope. Maybe it's the fact that Tom Brady is no longer under center. Locker was able to put the Pats up by 3 and after a turnover on downs they went up 6-0. On the next series M. Ryan would waste no time hitting J. Jones across the middle and he would tuen up the field for a 46 yard catch and run for the games 1st TD. Now down 7-6 J. Locker would work his magic and guide the Patriots down for a 17 TD pass to A. Hernandez. On the Falcons next drive J. Jones would take a handoff on an end around only to be met by Olb J. Mayo on a crushing tackle. Jones was injured on the play and will be out for an extended amount of time. With the score 13-7 at the half, the Falcons would receive the ball only to have Matt Ryan picked off by J. Mayo and return it for a pick 6. The Falcons would have a time consuming drive that led to only a fg. Now up 20-10 and, J. Locker would lead one more drive and run it in from 5 yards out. Thats how the game would end. 27-10. Both teams run defense were extremely stingy but 3 ints by the Falcons were the difference. Good game Mr. Overunder. Good luck the rest of the way.
