Foxboro, MA - The Patriots tasted defeat for the first time a week ago and even win a 9-1 record they could not afford another loss in a tight AFC East with the Jets and Dolphins on their heels.

The Broncos came to town and despite their record the Patriots knew it would be a battle. Stevan Ridley kick started the offense early as he rushed for over 100 yards on the day and helped the Pats jump out to an early 21-0 lead. The Broncos fought back just before the half thanks to back to back Tom Brady INTs and were down 21-14 with a chance to tie at the Patriot 2 yard line but were stuffed on a run play with no timeouts remaining as the half ended.

After the Broncos squandered a golden opportunity the Patriots took all the momentum back scoring quickly to build a 28-14 lead. Once again the Broncos were resilient as the Thomas boys caught fire making it a 28-21 game. It took about 10 seconds for the Patriots to respond as Leon Washington returned the kickoff 100 yards for the TD and the Patriots would never look back scoring 17 straight points en route to a 45-21 victory to improve to 10-1 on the season.
