First the Patriots saw the name Delholme and they missread it thinking it said Freshmeatholme. If Carson Palmer was healthy there is no doubt this game would have gone the other way. The Patriots opened up by moving right down the field and scoring. However, Delholme would throw a pick6's and then fumble the ball putting the Patriots up 21-0. At the end of the half the Patriots moved down the field and with :16 left tried to hit Welker in the back of the endzone but Leon Hall would pick it off going 108 yards for the TD. Score at the half 21-10.

In the second half the Patriots just tried to run a ball control offense and did so with mixed results. The Bengals attacked and attacked but when they would get close they could only manage field goals. The Bengals would get the score to 24-16, but would throw a pick right into Darius Butlers hands ensuring the win 31-16.

GG Chris see you next year with a healthy team.

Congrats, John! Thx for the summary. Sounds like it was a great game! Hat's off to Chris for staying in the game and not giving up! FYI... can't post EA videos here in the forum. If you want to post highlights, you'll need to upload them to YouTube and insert them in your post from there.

Great Game John....the name on the Jersey might say Delhomme but it was my bad decisions that lead to both pick 6's. Going down 21-0 in the first quarter was just to much to overcome. Only managed 8 carries in the game, and those were for minimal gains at best. For what it's worth, my 108 yard pick 6 to end the half was actually Johnathan Joesph - his 11th INT and 5th TD for the season. It would be strange (and downright stupid) not to see him in a Bengal uniform next season but it's possible he might not be back. ;)
