(AP) Miami, FL - The 9-4 Miami Dolphins hosted the 12-1 New England Patriots looking for payback from an early season loss and looked to continue to keep the pressure on the Patriots as the Dolphins still had an outside shot at winning the AFC East. To do that they would need a big win this week which would be a tall task at hand. Rain was in the forecast as it was a straight down pour in Miami and both QB's knew this could be a factor in the outcome. The Patriots got things started as they came out looking to establish the run early as Vareem would cap off a 6 play drive on a 45 yard TD run for a quick lead 7-0. The Dolphins looked poised to tie the game up pushing the ball down the field with a short passing game keeping the New England defense off balance but on a 3rd down and 5 from the Patriot 30 Ryan Tannehill would throw his first of 4 INT's on the day. The Patriots would turn that turnover into quick points as Brady found Dobson for 30 yards where Ridley would find the endzone for a 2 yard TD run and a 14-0 lead.

The Patriots would add another score off a Dolphin turnover and went into the locker room up 21-0. Tannehill would once again turn it over on their first possession of the 2nd half and the Patriots would turn into 7 points. Behind another strong effort on the Ground Ridley would carry the ball over 20 times for over 120 yards and the Patriots would eventually go on to shut out the Dolphins 35-0.

The Patriots will now look to improve their playoff position with a matchup against the Baltimore Ravens in week 16
