Week 5- Wisconsin vs Penn St

    Final Score- 34-17

New coach KillaJo learned a lot about his club in his coaching debut. "This game was the tale of two halfs" said coach Jo. Once it was determined that RS Freshman QB K. Newsome is not only erratic but dosent have the strongest arm in the world the Lions were able to fit the play calling to his abilities. And they figured out that RB S. Green is fast, very fast.

The strength of the D is the front 7 which allowed 108 rushing yds but it took the Badgers 41 carries to reach that number.

If we can keep the young QB from turning the ball of we will have a good chance.

    PSU 27 vs. Iowa 30

More than one loss can be attributed to the loss to Michigan last week. PSU struggled with out their starting QB as back up McGloin threw 3 ints. Iowa drove down the field late after PSU tried to score instead of running out the clock and sending the game to overtime. Next week is Northwestern but after that they get OSU and still wont have their starting QB....Might be a rebuilding year for Lions folks.

    PSU 30 vs NorthWestern 23

The Nittany lions avoid a 3 game skid my beating NU an a close game. The Lions scored the final 13 points of the game while backup QB McGloin gets his first win. The real news of the game was the record breaking performance by All-American LE j. Crawford. Crawford had an amazing 9 sacks (no line shifts or running start) and 13 tackles for a loss. The Defense finally shut down NU thanks to the tremendous pressure from Crawford.

    MVP
    LE J Craford 15 tackles (13 TFL) 9 Sack

OSU beats up on PSU 34-6

It was a defense battle tied at 3-3 with 2 minutes left in the first half. PSU's backup QB tried to do too much leading to two picks that were converted into scores making it 17-3 all of a sudden...It was over after that, the second half was boring with the lions posing no offensive threat.
Buckeyes look good on D in this one.

    PSU vs Indiana

PSU beat up a bad Indiana team but still gave up too many points. At least we get our starting QB back next week finally.
