    Ole Miss vs. FCS Midewst

    Ole Miss 52
    FCS Midwest 17

Ole Miss won their home opener in blow out fashion. Jeff Scott was still hurt so he missed this week, but Jaylen Walton stepped in nicely with 3 TDs and over 100 yards rushing. Barry Brunetti continued to impress throwing for 351 yards and 4 TDs. Freshman Laquon Treadwell had another huge day catching 11 passes for 162 yards and 3 TDs. Treadwell has easily become Brunetti's favorite target this season, it's looking like the coaching staff made the right choice by not redshirting the #1 recruit at the wideout position. Bo Wallace got into the game in the 4th quarter, but didn't really do anything, so it's tough to see what he's going to bring to the table next year, as he should be inserted as the starter at that point. Ole miss takes on Texas next week before they have a bye and then will take on #1 Alabama. That should be the game that starting RB Jeff Scott will return for.
