Showdown between FSU and Texas goes to OT

This game was basically a defensive battle all first half. The game was 17-10 going into halftime and both Ryno and I were forced to punt on several occasions. The 4th quarter is when all hell broke loose. Ryno was looking to close out the game and had just gone up 31-10 with about 6 minutes left in the fourth. We got the ball and went down the field for a td as you can see in this clip below.

We then went for an onside kick with the score 31-17 in favor of Ryno. There was about 4 minutes left at this time. We failed the onside kick and Ryno got the ball back. Ryno attempted a run and fumbled, we recovered. From there we drove down the field again with a ton of momentum and were able to score on a slant route with Less than 2 minutes left.

Ryno recovered the onside kick yet again and was attempting to move the ball enough so that we would burn our timeouts and he could close out the game. We forced a 3rd and 12 and ended up picking the ball off.

We went down the field and ended up scoring with 5 seconds left to make it 31-31 and force OT

We won the toss and elected to defend, forcing Ryno to settle for a FG. On the second play of our possesion we hit our WR on a corner route for a TD and an incredible comeback victory.

    TCU 27
    Texas Tech 14

TCU goes into Lubbock and pulls off a big win and their first conference win, 27-14. The 1st quarter was pretty boring to watch as TCU got 3 points on their first offensive possession, but that would be the only points scored in the quarter. Texas Tech answered in the 2nd with a deep touchdown pass from Michael Brewer on which TCU was caught in cover 2 and the safety was brushed off when he tried to make a tackle. TCU would respond with just 20 seconds to go Pachall run off the speed option to go into the half up 10-7. Tech would add a field goal in the 3rd to tie the game up and those would be the only points scored. In the 4th though, it was all TCU as they would start out the 4th with a TD pass to Brandon Carter, then score 2 minutes later on an Aaron Green 1 yard run. With the score 27-14, the Horned Frogs would get a 4th down stop with about 2:30 to go, and would pick up the one first down they needed before kneeling out to escape Lubbock with a big victory.

    Casey Pachall 15/20 204 yards 1 td 2 ints 1 rushing td

Tar Heels Defense Comes to Play

UNC got off to a good start in this game, and never let off the gas. Both teams made their fair share of mistakes, with three turnovers committed by each team. The difference in this one was great defense, and ball control and long drives by the offense. WVU was held to 186 yards of total offense (to UNC's 367), and only had 9 minutes and 23 seconds of possession time to UNC's 18 minutes and 37 seconds. The Tar Heels converted ten out of 11 of their third down attempts, while WVU struggled with only converting four out of eight. These stats ultimately culminated in a much needed win for UNC. Great game IrishBearcat, this was not your day. I hope our little rivalry continues.

    Wolfpack silence Shit Big House
The Wolfpack stunned the Michigan Wolverines, winning 26-11 in Ann Arbor is a whore. The Wolfpack defense smothered the rabid, down-syndrome weasels ,holding them to under 200 yards of total offense. And if not for a last-minute TD, would have kept scUM Meatchicken Michigan out of the endzone entirely.

"This was a marquee win for us," Baron said after the game. "But hey, at least we aren't Applachian State."
