Panthers Win Shootout Denver: AP:......The Carolina Panthers came into Denver wanting to set the tone for the season with a balanced attack. That they did but it wasn't until after they were smacked in the mouth by the legendary Peyton Manning. Manning hit Demaryius Thomas on a 70 yd TD late in the first quarter and a 36 yd FG by Matt Prater but them up 10-0 at the half. Carolina kicked off and Manning's first pass of the second half was picked off and taken to the house by Carolina CB Captain Munnerlyn. The 3rd quarter would see a bonanza of scoring as Cam Newton connected with Steve Smith on an 80 yd TD strike to put Carolina up 14-13 after another Prater FG. The Panthers then got the ball back and Deangelo Williams found a gap on a dive play up the middle and saw nothing but daylight and ran untouched for a 59 yd touchdown. The Panthers held a 21-13 lead. The Broncos answered right back on a 49 yd TD pass from Manning to Tamme and the ensuing 2 pt conversion tied the game at 21 heading into the fourth quarter. The Panthers punted and Manning once again burned the Panthers secondary hooking up with Eric Decker on a 54 yard score that put the Broncos up 28-21. The back and forth battle continued as Deangelo Williams found himself behind the defense once again on an off tackle run and used his speed to cap the 30 yard run for a TD tying the game once again at 28. The Panthers "D" held and and the Panther O Line gave Cam Newton just enough time from the Broncos relentless pass rush to find Steve Smith on a skinny post, Smith at 33 yrs old ran away from defenders to score from 50 yds out putting up Carolina 35-28. That would prove to be the dagger as the Panthers D stuffed the Broncos on the next drive and ran out the clock for the victory. Peyton Manning led the passing attack going 12 for 21 for 363 yds and 3 TD's. Deangelo Williams led all runners, rushing for 142 yds on 16 carriers and scoring twice. Demaryius Thomas torched the Panthers secondary hauling in 7 catches for a whopping 237 yds and a TD.
DEEZ NUTZ takes the lead 1-0!
not bad for first user game.. struggling with running into my oline lol.. think i went 15 carries for 32 yards
Brees Carries Saints Past Texans Saints Win, 38 - 17 New Orleans, LA. - When the Saints and Texans were paired up for their 1st Annual Pigskin Pick 'Em match up, many expected the game to be full of fireworks. The first quarter was anything but. After a first quarter filled with three and outs for both teams, it was the Texans who would grasp momentum first as they would cause Brees to fumble on a sack deep in the Saints territory. The ensuing drive would carry over into the 2nd quarter and end with a short field goal, putting the Texans up 3-0. The Texans would shoulder the lead late into the 2nd with each team continuing to play great defense. Finally Drew Brees would open things up for the Saints as he connected with Jimmy Graham on this play:
It didnt take long for the Saints to add to their lead. The Texans would try to respond, putting together a solid drive until Matt Schaub would make his first mistake of the game:
Again, it didnt take long for the Saints to continue to pile on. Another touchback, and a few short completions later, it was Johnny Patrick's turn:
The Saints could only walk away with a FG after the Patrick INT, but the 3 points put them up 17-3 going into half time. After a 3-and-out to open up the 3rd quarter for the Texans, the Saints offense would take the field. This time Brees would find Devery Henderson on a corner route:
That 50 yard strike would put the Saints in firm control up 24-3, or so they thought. The ensuing kickoff was returned 103 yards for a TD by Trindon Holliday to bring the Texans back within two scores. The Saints would put together a long drive in response that was finally capped off by Darren Sproles from 14 yards out. Up 31-10 to close out the 3rd quarter, the Texans would put together a stellar drive of their own. Schaub connected with Andre Johnson and put the Texans deep into the Saints territory. A few plays later the Texans were knocking, as they had 1st and goal from the 5. The Saints defense would step up huge, stopping Foster on 3 consecutive plays and bringing up a fourth and goal from the 1. In the end though, it was too much for the Saints d-line to handle as Ben Tate would scamper in from one yard out bringing the Texans back within two scores at 31-17. With a little over 2 minutes on the clock, the Saints would start pounding the rock. Two plays and 1st down later the two teams would find themselves at the 2 minute warning. On the very next play, Pierre Thomas showed the world why he should not be forgotten:
That huge play would setup a Darren Sproles touchdown run that would put the Saints up 38-17 and ultimately seal the victory for the Saints.
Player of the Game: QB Drew Brees - New Orleans - 16/21, 241 Yards, 2 TDs -------------------------------------------- Great game pitt4life21

JETS BALL SO HARDJets 42 Falcons 24Atlanta,GA- BALL SO HARD VS DEEZ NUTS in Hotlanta. The Falcons host the New York Jets in a battle of former playoff teams who are nothing more than playoff teams. The Falcons struck first with Matt Ryan hitting Julio Jones on a 62yd TD. Coming into this HK season the Jets have been silent about the Gatorcat but with Ball So Hard and Deez Nuts tied 1-1 the Jets pulled out all the stunts letting the Tebowcat and and Shonn Greene lead them to a 21-7 lead at half. They wouldnt stop there Greene ran a 80yd TD in the 3rd qtr and with the help of this Jets defense lead by Revis Island go on to beat the Falcons 42-24
Cade Edit that summary you put saints instead of atlanta
In a bad situation playing my beloved Chiefs as it was a lose/lose proposition for me personally. Not much to report on this game as the Packers started off with back to back pick 6's and got a nice cushion early on. Below is videos on the main highlights. Three pick 6's and 2 nice slant routes to Baldwin sporty hit. Final score was 41-17 Packers. Gl to you the rest of the release sporty.
p-p-p-p petty and the jetssssssssssss
I never played you liar.
oops i meant falcons let me change lol
Game disconnected during the 4th quarter so I don't have any stats. Lions raced out to a 21-3 halftime lead on a 6 yard comeback pass to Calvin that turned into a 91 yard touchdown. Stafford threw four touchdowns (Johnson x 2, Burleson, Young) and one interception. Kevin Smith had about 100 yards on 15-18 carries. RG3 was held in check, only running three or four times for about 10 yards. The Skins did have a 100 yard kickoff return for a touchdown in the 3rd quarter.
thanks man , you to
Eagles outlast Oakland in first round
The Philadelphia Eagles edged out the Oakland Raiders 35-31 in an exciting game at Lincoln Financial Field in Philly.
Offensively, the Eagles played an absolutely terrific game. Lesean Mccoy rushed for over 100 yards, and Michael Vick was spot on spreading the ball pretty well over the field.
Defensively, the front four played outstanding, bottling up Mcfadden on the ground, and causing chaos for Carson Palmer to the tune of 6 sacks and 3 INT's.
Jason Babin was the player of the game, with 2 INT's and a sack.
Good game DrunkenSoldier.
Ravens Recover From 20 Point Deficit To Win One For Team Ball SO Hard
This game started off well for both offenses as both were able to score on their opening drives. After trading TDs in the first things looked to be going good for the Ravens after holding a dominant drive by the Browns to just a FG and then Flacco found Ed Dickson in the end zone for a 4 point lead. But once they got the ball back again after stalling another Cleveland drive Flacco threw an ill-advised pass that was picked off. The worst part was when rookie Trent Richardson took it 72 yards for a TD. After an amazing INT by TJ Ward the Browns scored again and took the half time lead 24-14.
After the Browns tacked on another 10 points in the 3rd the game looked to be over. Little did everyone know that Joe Flacco's TD to Torrey Smith late in the 3rd would spark the improbable comeback. After a missed Cleveland FG, the Flacco led Ravens took their time to move down field and scored another TD with 4:40 left in the game. Baltimore forced a 3 and out on the next drive and moved down field to score on the first play after the two minute warning when Torrey Smith hauled in another Flacco TD pass giving them the lead for the first time since late in the first half. Cary Williams grabbed a pick-6 on the following drive and the defense was able to hold off Brandon Weeden from getting a chance to tie the game.

Great game ryty32 like I said I look forward to our division battles
SUPER CHARGED VICTORY!!!Ryan Mathews, Quentin Jammer lead way in 24-14 W over Dallas Great game between Dallas and San Diego. Dallas struggled to get the run game going and had a lot of dropped passes, while San Diego seemed content with getting field goals and pounding the ball with Leron McClain, Ronnie Brown and Ryan Mathews. Mathews in particular had a hell of a game, rushing for 191 yards on 31 carries and a touchdown. Phillip Rivers was awfully quiet, throwing the ball just 13 times and completing it only 8. He did, however, hook up with Malcolm Floyd on a 16-yard touchdown just before halftime to make it a 13-0 game. The first play of the second half was a nightmare for Chargers fans, as Phillip Rivers attempted a deep pass to Antonio Gates that was picked off by the Dallas defense and returned for touchdown. Just like that the lead was 13-7. However, more craziness would ensue as the Chargers first play on offense after the pick 6 would be an 80-yard touchdown scamper by Mathews that pushed the lead back up to 19-7. The Chargers went for 2 and got it on a nice curl route to Antonio Gates. After another field goal in the 4th, the Chargers had a 24-7 lead. Dallas would score on a nice touchdown pass from Tony Romo but it would just be a little too late as the Chargers got the ball back on Quentin Jammer's 3rd interception late in the game and ran out the clock. Great Game BobJr . Good luck in the regular season!
Chicago AP: The Battle of Midway went a little something like this............Hardknocks rookie thirdalarm and ChildPlease hooked up for a battle between the Cincinnati Bengals and Chicago Bears on Thursday night. The Bengals had the law on their side as BJGE plowed through a solid Chicago Defense, but in the end victory slipped through the fingers of Brandon Tate in overtime on a Punt leading to a Chicago FG for a 23-20 victory at Soldier Field. Cincinnati's Defense was solid, keeping M.Forte in check and swarming Brandon Marshall. Chicago running back M.Bush found the endzone early only to have the following kickoff taken to the house to put cinci up nearing the half. Jay Cutler was erratic throwing 4ints and nearly throwing the game for Chicago. Kicker Robbie Gould was mugged before the game and ruled out 5 minutes before kick off, and the water boy filled in and missed 3 FGs! A near by UFO sighting prior to game time might of caused some lagging in the atmosphere but both coaches agreed it was a level playing field. The United States Air Force quickly handled the Alien presence when they found out the ETs were Packer fans. After the game Bears Coach thirdalarm said "to the rest of Hardknocks if you think youre gonna run on the Bengals this year...."ChildPlease!!!"
When Coach Houtz took over the Miami Dolphins, expectations could not have been lower. The team was ranked #31 overall in preseason and continued to get shit on when much like the fat kid in gym class, he was chosen last for the pick me tournament. And then the underestimating continued to go on as coach of the New England Patriots continued to threaten the league with his jacked up, gonzo looking TE. Well all that changed in a single game.
New England took the opening kickoff and Tom Brady threw an immediate interception to Kevin Burnett. A few plays later and Ryan Tannehill hit Anthony Fasano across the middle for a TD. 7-0 Miami.
On New England's next drive Miami forced a punt. Miami workd methodically down the field using a mix of run and pass. This would eventually lead to a Reggie Bush TD, 14-0 Dolphins.
Miami would get the ball back and this time be forced to punt the ball back to New England. As Miami awaited to make the catch inside NE's10 yard line, a NE player stepped in front of CB Nolan Carrol and the ball hit the mfer in the back of the head, resulting in a live ball. Miami recovered and a few plays later would score again on a Ryan Tannehill td pass. 21-0 Miami.
End 1st Quarter
And then Tom Brdy did what Tom Brady does and connected on a deep pass to Brandon Lloyd for a easy TD catch. 21-7 Miami.
Miami moved the ball down field again with a mixture of run and pass. On 2nd and 10 from the15 yard line, Ryan Tannehill rolled to the right and throws a strike to Charles Clay in the corner of the end zone. 28-7 Miami.
Ryan Tannehill would throw a interception deep in his own territory and leave NE with great field position to get back into the game before the half. However, a few plays later Brady would make another I'll advised throw which was picked off by Nolan Carrol and returned 70+ yards for the TD. 35-7 Dolphins
A tornado would begin to form and the game was called due to in climate weather.
Great game SteamboatReb. It was just one of those games where EVERYTHING went against you. Goodluck the rest of the season.
iPad autocorrects most of that bs.
I would have had stats and other info but the game locked up.
Bucs Pull Away in The Second Half JACKSONVILLE- The Tampa Bay Buccanneers pull away from the Jacksonville Jaguars in the second half of the game to get a 49-28 victory. Due to some fortunate defensive plays that led to timely turnovers resulted in extra opportunities for the Buccaneer offense. The defensive unit forced 6 turnovers, 3 of which were turned directly into points. QB Josh Freeman was pretty efficient in the game passing for over 300yds and 7 td's to only 2 ints. Both WR's Vincent Jackson and Mike Williams went over the 100yd mark in receiving while newcomer TE Dallas Clark lead the team with 2 td receptions. Lagarette Blount failed to find the endzone but did gain 91 yards in the contest. Rookie SS Mark Barron and MLB Mason Foster lead the team with 6 stops each.
It posted twice
Tennessee jumped out in the second quarter to a nice 14-0 lead behind Chris Johnson 19 yard run and Nate Washington's 67 yard TD catch and run. Pittsburgh didn't fall apart though, as Ben drove down the field and hit Antonio Brown for a 13 yard TD. Tennessee took the 14-7 lead into half while they would get the ball back to start the third to try and extend that lead.
Pittsburgh DBs came up huge in this game, the first possession of the 3rd quarter ended up being a Titan turnover. After forcing Pittsburgh to take three points, cutting the lead to 14-10 as time expired in the 3rd. The Titans next possession resulted in a 3 and out and Big Ben would march the Steelers right down the field, accumulating into a Rashard Mendenhall TD taking the lead 17-14. Ike Taylor would get his 2nd interception of the day which turned into points, another Antonio from Ben hook up to push the lead to 24-14. Tennessee wasn't done as they were able to get into the endzone with 1:56 remaining but a failed onside kick let them down.
They were able to get the ball back with 1:34 remaining the Steelers downed the ball on the one yard, forcing Tennessee to go 99 yards for the win, if they were to score 6 points. Will Allen would get another one for the self labeled #ballhawks that would end the game on consecutive kneel downs by Ben.
