    Not Enough
Arkansas loses a heartbreaker in 4 OTs

In Coach Bobjr's debut, the Arkansas Razorbacks were outlasted by the Aggies from TAMU. Texas A&M jumped out quickly to a 14 point lead, thanks to Ryan Mallett's back to back interceptions. At first the Razorback offense couldn't get anything going, and it took the entire first half for them to even muster three points. In the first half, Mallett was way off target and was picked off 4 times due to the swarming TAMU defense.

After the intermission, the Razorbacks looked and felt like a totally different team. Relying on the legs of runningback Ronnie Wingo, the Hogs drove down the field and cut the lead to 14-10. Each team would score on their next drive and at the end of three quarters the score was 21-17. With the Arkansas crowd finally back into the game, the Aggie offense started to sputter a bit. Quarterback Jerrod Johnson was knocked out of the game. This was thought to be a big break for the Razorbacks, but his replacement played lights out. Both teams ended up tied at 24, because Ronnie Wingo for Arkansas scored with seconds left in the fourth quarter. On to another game of overtime. Seems to be my norm. However, this one took an astounding 4 overtimes. After three overtimes of teams battling back and forth, Arkansas QB Mallett threw his 5th and final interception. With all the momentum, TAMU QB Tommy Dorman threw his fourth touchdown to win the game. Dorman was an unbelievable 6/10 and 4 touchdowns.

Arkansas loses a tough one to Ole Miss

The Arkansas Razorbacks came into today's game at a .500 record. Not good enough for a team that had SEC championship aspirations. Three quick disappointing losses and the Hogs have quickly faced a situation of scratching for a bowl game invite. Unfortunately Ole Miss was out for blood today. They quickly went up 14-3 by the middle of the second quarter, due to the legs of their HB Bolden. Bolden was the player of the game with his 150+ yard peformance. After a 17-9 halftime lead.

The Hogs tried to come back in the third, only to be stopped by the Rebel defense. A little back and forth resulted in a FG for Arkansas and that would be all the scoring in the third quarter. 17-12 Ole Miss going into the fourth. Ole Miss pounded the rock and controlled the game in the fourth quarter and the Hogs had no answer. 24-12 and Arkansas scores a garb TD to make the game look better. Now the Razorbacks really have their work cut out..

Razorbacks finally win first Civil War game

The Arkansas Razorbacks have had a tough go as of late, losing their last three games by a combined 18 points. Today's game was no different in the fact that the end result would be in overtime. However, this time the Hogs would come out on top 33-30 over Vanderbilt. The game featured a huge lineup change when Broderick Green got the starting nod at Halfback. A bigger back, Green doesn't possess the speed that Ronnie Wingo does. What Green does well is he sets the tone for the offense.

Green ended up with over 100 yards, a first for Arkansas HBs since Coach Bob took over. Broderick also scored the game winning touchdown and a bulldozing run in overtime. This happened after the Hog defense took momentum away from the Commodores. What a great game...but I am spent....

    Another Close one!
Hogs lose by 7 in the closing minutes

The Arkansas Razorbacks are 4-5 on the season, but 4 losses have been all by less than 7 points, including today's game against the South Carolina Gamecocks. The game started off great for the Hogs when HB Davis scampered in from inside the ten yard line. After recovering a fumble on the ensuing kickoff, the Razorbacks added a FG to get a 10-0 lead. These points would be the only points for the Hogs in the first half. After another quick three and out by the Gamecocks, it looked like the Razorbacks had full momentum. But, K Tejada couldn't nail the FG. This would be a trend for the afternoon. Tejada would end up missing three FGs, and was put in position to make 5. The inability of the offense to put points away was a real problem on a rain soaked field. With a 14-10 lead at halftime the Gamecocks had full control of the game, and would jump out to a 21-10 lead before the middle of the third quarter. The Razorbacks had their work cut out for them, but they eventually crawled back into the game to tie it up at 21 with 3:34 left to go in the game.

South Carolina ended up taking the next drive and scoring on a 42 yard strike. The Hogs had a great drive to end the game but couldn't capitalize on a 4th and goal from the 3 yard line. Another tough luck loss for Arkansas.
