    Action Packed

Rutgers loses despite a heroic 35-point effort by their offense.

Pitt took this one to the Rutgers D early going up 14-7 in the 1st and tried to stay one step ahead of Rutgers the rest of the game. That would prove to be a hard task as Rutgers and their high powered offense, with some help of some costly TO's by Pitt, would come back to reclaim the lead in the 3rd. This would be short lived as Pitt would answer immediately back with Strickland rumbling 83yds off of a delayed hand-off. I must say that the Rutgers D looked like a D-II school on this play as almost their entire D line and a LB were pancaked allowing room for Strickland to run for the endzone.

All was not done however, Rutger made Pitt and their Noodle armed QB sweat as they went back and fourth through out the 4th until Pitt captured the lead for the final time with a magical touch pass to Wood in the back of the endzone, threading it through 3 Rutgers defenders.

But wait there is more.....! Rutgers the ensuing drive would ready themselves for the game tying drive. This however would be short lived as Wilson would throw a very costly INT to the safety covering the slot.

The game ultimately came down to an 3rd and inches. With Rutgers having no time-outs left, Pitt would barely get it over the line with a FB draw, allowing them to get the 1st and run the clock out.

Sadly, they aren't out of it. Let's not assume he won't get into the title game again just yet.

It took me a minute to get my stick skills back. Before I jumped on board with you guys, I hadn't played in almost a month. The rust is off and I'm hitting the ground running.

Kinda wish I had tried against HotRod now....oh well

I won't call it a pity win, he got up on me FAST 17-0 before I packed it in.

I broke my controller on this game. This is where the talent of this team failed me.

I knew he was running a draw to the left when he was going to run it or throwing to the TE's or running on 4th down. I sold out on the run but my guys really didn't respond to that. Frustrating to lose like that but can't win forever. Gg man.

I know your frustration, at one point I almost gave up on this game(admittedly I was taking the game too seriously). I broke both my controllers, used the working parts from both to make a good one, then I broke that one. Now I am using my wired controller I use for my PC to play until I buy a new one.
