Vote in the poll!
Compromise for the sim guys and the play only guys
As we get every so close to the start of the next cycle of HK we wanted to see what everyone thought about using the "sim" aspects of seasons once again. Last year we utilized a play 1 then sim 1 approach, which allowed us to get thru several seasons. Of course it had its positives and negatives and since we want to make HK the best Madden league going we wanted to see what everyone thoughts were on using "sims" once again. This year we have 2 choices a) play every year and do not sim any seasons or b) play 2 seasons then sim 1 season. So everyone please vote and lets us know what you think on this.
I feel like the additions to CFM this year will make it a better experience on all fronts.
I also don't think I can win a SB without help from the SIM gods
A come on with this sim the season bs
If you vote no..gimme reasons why
I voted for it. I think 2 to 1 is a good ratio. Not a fan of every other.
You and MG are in the same boat then.
Yes, I'd be interested in the 2 for 1. Why? Random draft classes. That is all.
I'd prefer to play each season. With the pace of the league, we will still get through several seasons. I love to build up my young players organically and get that game time and practice/XP time in with them to watch them grow.
I just don't really see the value in simming seasons at all.
We get further in, more season to develop those rookies. Makes GM decisions have a bit more lasting impact etc...
I'm already a member of the group.
this is my nightmare
I voted for all play because I think we all can have great time playing season then simulate it , you got your strengths and weakness as gamer in madden I know I do I take my beatings and heck I finsh season 0-16 more then twice now since being here
I think that playing 2 seasons and simming one is not a bad idea if we are sure that the ratings and personnel affect who wins the games. I think from what I observed in m25 and previous maddens is that a lot of times who wins the sim game is random. While I know that the really good teams also lose in real life it does not happen as randomly.
Another thing I was considering is that when you sim a season you have no control over your team and if you keep on losing that particular season the guys that you have been upgrading and progressing for the past 2 seasons could regress without you being able to do anything. I guess this can go back to my previous point about the random losses in sim games
That is a good point I hadn't thought of yet . I would assume the sim engine is still pretty damn random , I had games last year where my team was throwing 60 passes a game and getting my QB 5-7 INT
Which is terrible when you naturally throw 4-5 INT a game to start with lol
You all know my feelings about sim seasons.
Sort of surprised that I'm going with play them all. With the confidence ratings and all that new stuff, I would rather play the games then the CPU decide of the fate of some of my young guys.
