I feel ya! I played 19 vs the Padres before losing 3-2, but the 2nd game I played them, they obliterated me
Good news is I could semi hit. Bad news is even with analog I give up a million runs. Ha. Also we must finish a series before moving on correct? I'm off to work, had to quit mid game as they needed someone before 3:30 I was in the 4th of a 1-1 game. Is there a way to resume that one? I'll try to get my series with the Rays in when I get back home (should be 8 or 9 hopefully) so we could play KnightNoles
I think one of my series is all jacked up because I played the 2nd game of the series instead of the 1st one first due to accidentally clicking the sim button, and now it won't let me play either of the two remaining games
Is there a way for you guys to resolve games in case they don't save? Played the 2nd with the Rays and won but it didn't save so had to do it over again (that's when I had to leave to work).
ALL - PLEASE WAIT ABOUT 30 SECONDS AFTER YOUR GAME ENDS BEFORE YOU GO BACK TO THE LEAGUE SCREEN!!! We think it may help prevent games not being recorded.
Some games I'm able to hit like no other, in other games I can't buy a hit or a strike. Also pretty sure it's just my pitchers being god awful. Ha. Lost my last game due to an Ichiro missed catch in the OF that led to 2 runs (at the time was down 4-2). I come back to bat the following half inning and DJ hits a 3 run shot. I was about to break my TV. Ha. I guess the only silver lining is I finally found out how to run the bases. Lost some runs trying to get a double or score from a single with a guy on 2nd.
I cant manage to score against the CPU. Part of the problem is I K all the time. The other problem is that I have no idea how to baserun!
Point the left stick to the baserunner you want to control. Say you hit a single point it to the right and press triangle to go to 2nd, square for 3rd or X for home. Say you have a guy at 2nd and singled, point it up and press X to go to home (since he will already be going to 3rd there is no reason to press square. Hopefully this helps, once you see how it works base running becomes a lot easier and a lot less frustrating.
I've had trouble throwing strikes from the bullpen, especially with counts starting at 3-2. I've walked more guys then I've given hits.
Is everyone losing consistently to the CPU? Perhaps we could adjust the sliders so the CPU doesn't hit or pitch as well? Keep the level All Star, but lower CPU sliders?
