    Playbook Changes - 2011

    Hey guys,

Have a look at your personnel, and then post any playbook changes you might want to make for next season.

Personally, I think I'm staying with the Pitt offense, but moving to a Multiple defensive look. That may change before the season launches, but I'm comfortable with it for the moment.

Why bother posting what you THINK you're going to do?

    (I kid, I kid. ;))

I'm sticking with my 'Carolina offense and will play a 4-3 considering that I don't have the necessary ideal personnel for the 4-2-5.

keeping wvu offense, moving to 4-3 defense. I HATED the 3-3-5

That makes me the only non-4-3 defense.

So that's it? No one else wants to swap out a playbook?

I'm going to stay with the spread, but was thinking about the spread from another school. Any recommendations?

I think yours is one of the better books for the spread. Ever thought about the Pistol? Much better running game, and you still get that shotgun feel.

Plus, the read option is a more downhill thing. The read is a bit different, but once you get used to it, I like it better. Nevada, Ohio, Indiana - the first is all pistol and shotgun, and the other two are mixed. Bama has a great book, too. There are plenty more, but I thought this might help.

Seems a bit hasty, but OK. Just say which one you want to use, and I'll make the change.
