    Player Awards

Is there a way to post HTML in a thread? I think it would be a cool idea to post something that gives early favorites for awards like MVP and ROY. I created a table that displays 4 tables that included the players pic, their team and this seasons stats. I could update it by the week and everyone can follow the favorites and see what they are doing are doing week by week. What do you guys think?

lol. it is a work in progress. The site doesn't allow you to post regular HTML code, but they have their own code that can be inserted. I am learning how to use it as I work on it. What doe you think about the images lined up vertically? My original thought was to have them horizontal with the write ups underneath. Which would you like more?

Well, either way would work, but it would probably be easier to set it up with vertical pictures with columns under the pics for why they are in the running for that award.

What do you guys think so far? This is still a rough copy just to bounce around some ideas with this code. We could do it either way. The first example (vertical) would allow us to do write ups right next to each image. The second example looks nicer IMO, but we would not be able to put the write ups with the images. They would have to be separate, below the images. You can see how they would be laid out in the examples above. What do you think? I think that we could do one for MVP, ROY, etc. We can also let people nominate their own players and make a case for them before voting. Like? Dislike? Think it is dumb?

I think it's a great idea. Although probably more difficult, I think the vertical would be easier to read for all involved.

I also think that the OMFL owners as a whole could vote on these awards. The only rule would be you could not vote on someone on your own team.
