    QB Joe Flacco
    12/17, 143 Yards, 3 TDs

Coming into Week 3, the Ravens had one goal. Enter the bye week 3-0. The only thing standing in their way was the win-less Indianpolis Colts. Things were looking bleak for the Ravens as the 1st half was winding down. They found themselves down 7-0 and had done very little thus far in the game. Thats when Flacco decided to take over. Flacco would end the half with a pair of touchdown passes to TE Ed Dickson and WR Torrey Smith as the Ravens would take a 14-7 half time lead. Flacco would again connect with Dickson late in the 3rd to all but secure the victory for the Ravens and put them 3-0 heading into the bye.

    DE J.J. Watt
    5 TCK, 3 Sacks
Week 3 featured another hot team, the Houston Texans, looking to stay hot as they faced off with the Pittsburgh Steelers in Houston. Off to a bleak start and down 10-0, the Texans would rally ripping off 10 points in under a minute to go into half 10-0. In the 2nd half it was all Houston as the Texan defense would buckle down and completely smother the Steeler offense. DE J.J. Watt was key to the Texans 2nd half turnaround as he amassed 3 sacks and was constantly in Roethlisbergers face as the Texans would limit the Steelers to less then 100 yards of total offense in the 2nd half.

While Jefferson's performance was outstanding, I try to steer away from just big numbers and the stock XFN PotW. Watts performance is a large reason why the Texans were able to overcome their deficit and shut down the Steeler offense after they jumped out to a 10-0 lead.
