So, if you want to switch in the offseason between defensive schemes (which I know you can't do officially in game) from a 4-3 to a 3-4, will the game allow you to play DE's at OLB? I'm just curious about trying to move away from the cover 2 and the 4-3 in general but not sure if it's possible with the inability to actually change guys positions in the offseason....ala NCAA.

    No, you cannot edit positions.

I've been allowing people to play guys out of position. For example, I've been playing Jabal Sheard at OLB at times.

This is always hotly debated. I think we're all pretty much in agreement this year that as long as its realistic, its okay.

I think the same would probably go for CB/FS-SS switch. If a guy gets towards the end of his career and starts slowing down, I definitely think thats okay.

The moves I would be considering are realistic I think - such as having Shea McClellin play at OLB (closer to what people thought he'd be drafted to play) and having DT Henry Melton (a small guy by DT standards) slide out to DE.

I'm not saying I would do it - I'm just thinking about things for the offseason. My bigger question is will the game allow you to play a DT and DE or a DE at OLB? I've never tried to, hence my question.

Good to know this, as I'm considering a 3-4 switch myself and with Cole and Babin, I'd hate to find them noneffective on a three man line.

Sounds like maybe you should play him at QB.
