To make sure folks are getting playing time we're going to reshuffle things a bit. I think everybody is cool with this. Also Corey has basically disappeared from every other league, so DT Nick Fairley is available if anybody wants to switch. Also NYJuggalo is joining us.

Basically I want everybody settled and cool with their player by the time the regular season starts.

To switch guys, please quit the league (do not retire the player) and come back in.

    Staying the same:

Switching (or new to the league):
    Some Players Available:
    Class of 2011
    • QB Christain Ponder, Vikings
    • DE JJ Watt, Texans
    • WR Jon Baldwin, Chiefs
    • DT Nick Fairley, Lions
    • DE Robert Quinn, Rams
    • DE Corey Liegut, Chargers
    • HB Mark Ingram, Saints (third string though)
    • DE Mohammed Wilkerson, Jets
    • CB Prince Amukamara, Giants
Class of 2012 - aren't necessarily starters - check before picking
    • HB David Wilson, Giants
    • QB Ryan Tannehill, Dolphins (third string)
    • DT Fletcher Cox, Eagles
    • DT Michael Brockers, Rams
    • DE Bruce Irvin, Seahawks
    • DE Quinton Coples, Jets
    • LB Melvin Ingram, Chargers
    • DE Shea McClellin, Bears
    • DE Whitney Mercilus, Texans
    • WR Michael Floyd, Cardinals

In More I believe there's an option to "Retire" - click that and then select "Create New Character."

So when is this advancing? Signed up but titans played this week so couldn't practice or do anything. I'm behind hassle beck by like 3 ovr pts so need a good last 2 weeks of preseason

Sorry for noob question, but can someone explain to me how this works with user games? CPU games, I would guess it's same as in the past with the "my superstar" mode for both Madden and NCAA. When you're on the field, you play. When not, you have the option to super sim it til you are back on the field. Right?

But with user games how does it work? For example, week 3 I play mooseboyj, who is CB Peterson. I am still a backup QB for the Titans.

So to start the game, he will be on the field on defense...I won't be doing anything...and neither us will have a vested interest when the Cards are on offense/Tenn is on defense. Eventually, I will be subbed in, and probably Peterson will be subbed out. So vice versa when Tenn has the ball, but same when Arizona has the ball, neither of us playing.

Do we have to watch everything when neither of us the ball? No way to sim that?

Yes. Grab some refreshments its going to be a looooong ride. Locker is the starter now I thought. Or you could see about Kendall Wright. Get more playing time...

ok, good to know. and according to the depth chart, he is still backing up Hasselbeck. But i'm down by 3 ovr points and i haven't gotten to practice or play with him yet. Seems like alot of the goals are really easy to accomplish, but I don't know how the progression works yet. Even if I on the bench to start the season, will crack the starting lineup shortly thereafter have to think, either by Locker being better or Hasselbeck getting hurt

Complete the goals and spend the XP any way you want. That is the new progression system.

Naa I like Locker. His ratings are beastly. Like 95thp and 85spd. Shitty accuracy but figure I will use my progression points on that and awareness to get his ovr up. Plus Titans have CJ2K and some decent receivers in Britt and Washington

I meant like if I improve his medium accuracy 1 pt, not sure how that affects his ovr. And if the cpu picks the starter solely based on ovr or is it also play/stats, who is the QB of the future, etc.

I'm guessing a few games worth of XP can increase his awareness enough to jump Hasselbeck.

well i got 2 preseason games and whatever they let me do practice wise. but whatever, sticking with locker unless i sit all season. if by like week 4-5 of the reg season, still not starter, then ill consider jumping to a new guy.

Im looking at becoming Ryan Lindley of the Cards. We can both sit our entire game!
