Fabian Parker MLB - 2nd year transfer, returns as a 99 overall.

Kevin Baker HB - Soph Back-up HB. Started out last year with 4 returns through 3 games before getting knocked out for 7 weeks.

Hunter Bailey QB - SR transfer, comes in rated at 92, jumping the scrambling Otis Lindsey. He has a bigger arm so he will get the opening day start to see what he can do.

We are really excited about our two starting quarterbacks, Isaiah Gonzalez and Justin Whitaker. Gonzalez is a Tim Tebow clone. 6'5 245 with 90 speed. He scored 9 rushing TDs last year before being sidelined for the season against Vandy. The big question is can he throw the ball? Enter Justin Whitaker the RS SO (91 throw power and 93 accuracy). Both of these guys will see playing time in different packages for the Gators this season.

On defense, we are really jacked about our safeties. Dwayne Stewart is a big time hitter with top cover skills (94) speed. At the FS spot we are rolling out Albert Williams (95 overall with 97 speed). Go ahead, try and go deep on this pair.

    1) Freshman FB Cedric Harrell

In an offense with limited offenseive weapons, Harrell will be asked to contribute immediately. With quality speed (90) and acceleration (80) for a FB, he'll receive a fair # of rushing opportunities. He's comfortable carrying the ball (74) and doesn't go down without a fight (80 Truck and 75 BTK). In addition, he's expected to open holes for the Cavaliers' trio of half backs (70 Run Block, 80/78 Run Block Strg and Foot Work, and 77 Impact).

    2) Senior (RS) QB Michael Aldaine

There might not be a more important player this year than team captain, Michael Aldaine. The 6'4" quarterback is solid in every capacity - 4.6 speed, 85/84 TP/TA, and 83 awareness. After being benched early in the season last year, Aldaine re-merged as the starter late in the year, leading the V-Men to 4 straight victories, including a Sun Bowl win over the #9 Washington Huskies. What Michael lacks in talent, he makes up for with intelligence. If he can limit his mistakes in 2023, the Cavaliers might surprise the nation yet again.

    3) Junior (RS) WR Bobby Leslie

Nick-named "lead-foot", Leslie couldn't beat out some lineman in a foot-race (78 speed). Yet, somehow, he still manages to make plays. Blessed with a quick first step (88 ACC) and terrific hands (93 catch), Bobby looks to continue to defy the odds this season.

Michigan State has a handful of guys that would excite any coach, but these are some of the highlights:

Lightning in a little bottle. Thompson is a midget that could score from anywhere. And Nixon? He's small too, but he'll move a pile or two.

Fierce. That's all you need to say about Matt Carter. And his counter-part that hits like a semi? Ferguson is for real too. Look for both of these guys on the field in most situations.

Big bodies on the interior D line. These two guys will be taking pressure off the inexperienced starters are LB.

Players that get my juices flowing....

Vincent tranferred in 2 seasons ago and redshirted his first season due to NCAA rules. Vincent did however get significant playing time last season (even though he was the back up). Trent Gaines went down early in the season or 9 weeks and Vincent stepped in and pushed for 100 yds on the season. Vincent showed why he is a top notch back with the attirbutes to run over your or run around you. Now, with the experience under his belt, Vincent looks to take the next step and prove to the country why he is on the Hiesman short list heading into the season.

Marcus Cobbs is a guy that was able to get his feet wet last year. After sitting for 2 seasons, Cobbs anchored a line that was shaky at times. This year, Cobbs is one of the leader of the offense and has stepped into that role nicely. Cobbs never takes aplay off and will be a key piece to our running game.

"Shy" Ronnie Ball is a shorter guy for the MLB spot, but what he lacks in height, he makes up for with speed. Ball will light you up and looks to be the leader on a senior laden defense. Shy Ronnie will plug the holes as well as cover sideline to sideline.

Jared Williams is another guy we are excited to have. Williams is a stud of a kicker and will hopefully help us win a few of those games we fell short in last season. JUst knowing that we have a strong leg when we need it, will allow us to be less aggressive when we cross midfield.
This is easily the best team overall that we have fielded since I have been at Ohio State. Hopefully it will translate into some big wins on the field.

1.) QB-Mike Nash, Wyoming goes as the "Nash Dash" goes. Just strong enough arm to make those 1-safety teams pay for cramming the box, and a pretty accurate QB all-n-all. Nash has excellent pocket presence and BTK. It's Nash's senior season and it's make or break for the Cowboys to get over the hump now in the power conference Big 12.

2.) Tailback-Maurice Carlson, Carl is a Trung Canidate clone with blazing speed and superb acceleration. Many have tagged him as the best kick returner in college football (6 return TD's last season). He won't get many carries in this Air Raid offense, but he makes most of his carries averaging over 5+ per/and acels in the passing game as well.

3.) OLB-Jon Dowdell, Jon is home grown outta Laramie and was a great add with Coach G talking him out of heading to USC for college ball. Jon has it all and is only a young fresh Soph. At 6'3, 229 Dowdell is the complete package with size, speed, acceleration, strength, and leadership. He is already off to a great season with a critical interception in the road Virginia game. Natural leader of the defense.
