(AP)- Premier Madden Football League's Superbowl II of the Madden NFL 11 franchise is here! The Rams (14-2) square off against the Jets (13-3) in a rematch of the ages. For those who are new to the league, both owners have a history going back to the Madden NFL 10 franchise. This grudge match is going to be an exchange of punches that comes down to turnovers and who capitalizes on the other's mistake(s) first. The Rams led the league this season with 14.4 points allowed on defense while the Jets were in a close fourth with 18.4 points allowed. Both teams were fifth and sixth in the league when it comes to points scored on offense only to be separated by one tenth of a point. Perhaps the most interesting stat is that both teams led the league in takeaways as the Rams had 28 and the Jets had 26 respectively. We could go on and on with the tale of the tape, but perhaps the most glaring stat is each team's strength of schedule. The Rams opponents carried a winning percentage of .443 while the Jets opponents were .505. Will the Jets be more prepared for the Superbowl because of their quality of opponents? Or will the Rams continue their domination regardless of who their opponent is? One thing is for certain; both teams will have their work cut out for them immediately following the kickoff!
