2012-2013 Season: Last year was a up and down season for the Portland Trailblazers who fought very tough to the very end of the season. The Blazers could have easily been a 7 or 8 seed in the playoffs last year if the team just didn't fall apart physically after the all-star break. Even with that the Blazers saw some very promising things whether that be players finally starting to realize their potential or a Star being found out of a small school. Last year the blazers starting lineup led the league in PPG at nearly 80 ppg, but the only problem was that the bench led the league in futility only averaging 18.5. That led to the Blazers starting lineup playing insane amount of minutes which probably led to the blazers injuries late in the year. PG Damien Lillard Mo Williams Earl Watson SG Wesley Matthews C.J. McCollum Allan Crabbe Guard preview: Last year Blazers had to deal with Nolan Smith and a very green Will Barton for most of the yr. Lillard and Matthews welcome the additions of Mo Williams and C.J. McCollum to help shoulder some of the scoring load. Will Barton will also get some playing time at the 2 as he impressed coach BBJ with his play late in the season. SF Nic Batum Dorell Wright Victor Claver Will Barton PF Lamarcus Aldridge Thomas Robinson Forward preview: Lamarcus and nicolas look to continue thier climb to the top of their respective positions. LA is already arguably the best PF in the game and has proven to be the best PF in the 2k series. Batum keeps progressing as a playmaker at the 3 and can guard 4 positions. Batum will be assigned opposing teams best perimetter and will be asked to keep them in check. Thomas Robinson brought in on the cheap looks to be Hickson 2.0 for the blazers a good hustle energy guy. Depending on Robinson's skill set he may start at the 4 with LA sliding to the 5. C Robin Lopez Myers Leonard Joel Freeland C preview: The Blazers would love for Leonard to take the job, but lopez will most likely start early while the water settles. Lopez helps defensively, but rebounding is going to be a issue. If it becomes to big Coach bbj will trade Lopez's defense for Leonard's offense or Robinson's hustle play.
