HB: Can play FB if speed under 80 and weight above 230. Can play WR on formation subs only.

DE: Can play DE or DT. May play OLB if speed is greater than 85 and weight is less than 255.

OLB: Can play any LB position. May play DE only if speed is less than 85 and weight is greater than 255.

MLB: May only play LB positions.

CB: May play FS only if speed is less than 90 and age is greater than 30. May play SS only is speed is less than 90 and weight is greater than 215.

SS: May play either safety position. May play cornerback if speed is greater than 90 and weight is less than 215. May play linebacker is speed is less than 90 and weight is greater than 230.

FS: May play either safety position. May play cornerback is speed is greater than 90 and weight is less than 215.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

Any position changes MUST be done ONLY in the preseason and must fall under the above guidelines. Furthermore you must follow the instructions below when making a position change.

    1) Post in your Team Front Office thread the position change you are requesting. You MUST INCLUDE the players new OVR rating at the position and their salary cap and cap hit ratings after the adjustments. Note that a players salary will NEVER go down. In other words if he is 88ovr as a LB, but 79 ovr as a DE. . .you will still have to pay him based on an 88ovr rating even if you use him exclusively as a DE.

    2) Wait for a board member to review and approve the position change with a post in your front office thread.

    3) Only after this has occurred you then make the necessary adjustments to your cap book and post them in your front office thread.

    4) The position change is then valid for the upcoming year ONLY! You will need to re-do all position changes after each offseason to account for progression/regressions. Some position changes that were valid one year may not be valid the next.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------

During emergencies due to injury, you may request a position change in season. However, you must post:

    1) The injured player and position
    2) Why the planned position change is needed due to the injury.
    3) All the steps outlined above. . .

A board member will review and post whether the emergency position change is allowed.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------

OK Folks, the above guidelines are FINAL for all depth chart position changes. We did this to eliminate any potential arguments that may occur should we just decide on a case by case basis. The above position change restritctions are firm. . .so DONT EVEN ASK if you can have a position change that doesn't fall into the above categories.

Formation subs in game will be allowed. However, please be advised we are allowing them only because we think (hope!) that nobody abuses the formation subs. If we find abuses happening (HB at WR too often, or LBs at DE the whole game) we will end up just banning formation subs as well. So please do not abuse this power.

Finally the HB to FB formation sub is STILL BANNED PERMANENTLY.

Please read and sign as we head into prep for Season 4!

What about this? A CB who actually plays both CB and FS for a defense? If I can provide proof that one of my corners has in the past and/or will be playing FS this season, will that work?

FYI, the player in question is Dwight Lowery, 75 OVR. He played some FS at SJSU as well as will be used as a FS and a CB on the Jets this season. He eventually will be transitioned to only FS, probably next year.

If you guys say this is ok, I will provide you with the reading material to prove it.

I don't think we are going to budge on this Sciko. It opens up too many loopholes. Keep in mind just because it happens in real life doesn't mean we allow it here. Because this is a video game, many guys take advantage of game code and such. This has been our motto for a long time.

Signed, let me know if I break a rule because my brain can't hold an encyclopedia of rules.

New rule #7,509. A QB cannot say more than 2 huts in his cadence unless it is on 3rd or 4th down and less than 1 yard to go but he is allowed to fart a couple of huts on 1st and 2nd down if trailing by 6 or more points on his homefield in any quarter. Please feel free to revise this rule as you choose.

P.S. Don't get mad at my jokes.
