Started from a chat box question. Post your player that you are using for RTTS in The Show 14.

Power hitting 1B? Nasty Closer? Lead-off corner OF? What did you choose?

I chose a well rounded SS. Did not fair so well in first 3 showcase games so spent 2 years in Juco ball , then was drafted in the 2nd round by the Tigers. I will post some pictures and maybe a video or two later tonight.

Hit a home run in 1st AA game for Erie :D

I went with a Flamethrowing right handed SP with a 98 MPH fastball. I got drafted by the Brewers.

First minor league start I go 1-3 with a RBI, and I pitch a complete game shutout featuring 12K's

I did the same. Fastball up to 98mph. Drafted by Baltimore, traded to Boston

Have a 7-4 record in AAA, 3.02 ERA

Spent all of April in AA, dominated and got called up. Doing the adaptive difficulty and it's definitely getting harder.

My guy is a third baseman. I think I cranked the difficulty too high, so I can't hit for shit.

I ended up being drafted by the Yankees (ugh) in the 6th round LOL.

I created a SP. His repertoire is knuckleball, 12-6 curve, vulcanchange. The vulcan is my fastest pitch. Got drafted by the Nats Round 1 pick 19 but decided to go to 3 year university. Selected #2 Overall by the Marlins.

My first start in AA was pretty legit.

SS in the Tigers system. 5'8 just like me. High speed and balanced power and hitting. I want to be 5 tool, we will see. You can follow along in the baseball forum.

Second MLB start, top of 4 I tear my shoulder throwing 68 mph knuckleball. Out for 3 months. Bonus though I got 400 training points for first perfect game, lol.

So, I started off AA batting terribly...about .175 for the first 30 games or so. Then I went on a goddamn tear, now my average is right around .230, which is a hell of a lot better. I've started raking and I'm now batting cleanup against lefties.

My split L/R is something like .429/.169, which is baffling to me LOL.

Running a SP that specializes in throwing pitches not often seen, hoping to keep hitters off balance those first couple of times through the lineup.

    92-96 MPH Cutter
    81-85 MPH Vulcan Change
    79-83 MPH Slurve
    75-79 MPH Screwball

Started out as a 3rd round pick by Baltimore. Went to a Juco for once season, 2nd round pick by the Angels.

Shredded AA, and was called up after exactly 1 month to AAA.

You don't want to see that guy.

He looks like the product of Brian Wilson having sex with his own sister.

So I made it to the show at age 20..

I spent one whole season in the minors- 2/3 AA, 1/3 AAA and got to tag along to spring training year two. All I really did was pinch run, but I managed to steal a couple bases. I had an error once in a game as well, so I figured my chances of sticking around the ML were slim.

Well spring training got over and I'm still on the roster. I think I'm the starting CF, or I am at least in the rotation! I'm batting fine and doing solid in the outfield defensively. Oh yes, my first ML hit was a 3 run home run also! Woooo

I think I have the highest BA on the team right now- and we are fighting with Cleveland for the top spot in the division in the early part of the season.

It seems right now the manager has me starting one series and then starting another guy another the next series-- I'm definitely ok with this as it helps the season move along!

Word to anyone that has a hitter RTTS player- plate vision helps hitting immensely!
