Felix can't go in the playoff. Its gonna be either Hultzen or Walker for Seattle.

lol ryalaman The facts are that your :doodie: team is not built for playoff series baseball. BAM!!!

Wild CardOrioles over Mariners (but go Dylema!!!)
    Reds over Rockies

    ALDS
Tigers over Orioles in 4 (it should be a sweep.)
    Rays over Astros in 5

    NLDS
Cards over the Reds in 3
    Braves over Dodgers in 4

    ALCS
Tigers over Rays in 7 (The Rays scare the hell out of me...)

    NLCS
    Braves over Dodgers in 6

    World Series
Tigers over Braves in 7 (To be the best, I want to beat the best)

The Rays have had my number since the beginning of this thing. I am so hoping to avoid them as I am completely nervous about playing them. I don't know if I am hoping to play Dylema in the ALDS or if I am hoping to play Raj so we can have another round of Team Sabermetrics vs Team Reality. And when I say Team Sabermetrics, I mean Raj picking and choosing which particular ones to get on the bully-pulpit on (which he is good in) and which ones he sucks at and he conveniently ignores.

Does Team Reality think RBIs are important and that having a #2 hitter who can "move runners over" is a good idea? Or do they just watch a lot of spectacularly horrible reality TV? The spectacularly horrible reality TV may be better for your brain cells.

I mean totally ignoring pitching and hoping to outslug everyone. That might work in the wild card game. hell, maybe you even outslug me and my 4 ACES but there is no way a team that ignores pitching can make it through 4 series. At some point, you got to be able to shut the other team down in a critical game or two

Who said anything about ignoring pitching? My staff isn't that bad. But there's no reason why pitching is more important than hitting. You go get runs no matter how you can. Pitching/defense wins championships is just a dumb saying that has no basis in the numbers.

Raj is just dillusional.. He'll probably keep telling me that I can't hit even though Tampa scored the most runs in the AL. It'll come down to Detroit/Tampa. I think the winner of that series win's it all. Houston looks like a tough test though. Wouldn't be one bit surprised to see them make a run.

    Wildcard:

Mariners over Orioles- Great SP and defense wins this one.
Reds over Rockies- Same as above.

    LDS:

Rays over Astros in 3 games- Too much talent on this Rays roster. Not enough experience for the Stros
Tigers over Mariners in 3 games- 107 regular season wins? This is the team to beat

Reds over Cardinals in 5 games- These teams are evenly matched, but when in doubt pick the user team
Braves over Dodgers in 3 games- Braves are too talented in the rotation

    LCS:

Rays over Tigers in 6 games- This Tampa team is red hot and their momentum carries them through.
Braves over Reds in 4 games- Clean sweep. Too much pitching.

    World Series:

Braves Repeat and show who the best team in baseball is. 6 Games.

Man - 107 wins and 46 games over .500 since shortly before the All Star break and 43-14 in my last 57 games sure doesn't purchase much love from the league prognosticators. ;)

It won't be easy without 2 starting OFers Jay Bruce and Alvin Barker. Going all pitching and defense and we'll see where it takes me.
