    EJ Manuel, Florida State

After the coaching shuffle week 4 some people wondered if players would be affected by all the coaching changes in the ACC. Well, one player that certainly seemed to thrive in his first week under a new coach was Manuel, who was simply outstanding against the Duke Blue Devils. Manuel ended the day 19-31 for 294 yards and 4 touchdowns in his team's 35-12 beatdown of Duke.

    Washaun Ealey, Georgia

We all knew that Georgia's mini losing streak of 2 games wouldn't last much longer, but what we didn't know was that Ealey would take it upon himself to make sure that the losing stopped this week! In his team's 41-17 win against Kentucky Ealey was a dominant force, carrying the rock 19 times for 189 yards and 3 TDs. Georgia will certainly not be losing many more games as long as Ealey is able to get that kind of performance in every week!

Honorable Mention: Spencer Ware: 20 carries, 164 yards, 2 TDs.

    Justin Hunter, Tennessee

We have already seen Da Rick Rogers on this list. Allow me to introduce you to his tag team partner, Mr Justin Hunter. Apparently in his team's 24-21 win over Louisville the opposing DBs must have all been color blind and thought that Hunter was on their team, because he continually burned them to the tune of 7 catches for an incredible 220 yards and 2 touchdowns (accouting for 70% of Tyler Bray's passing yards on the day!!!)

    Honorable Mentions:

    (1) Travis Benjamin (Miami): 6 catches, 136 yards
    (2) Reuben Randle (LSU): 4 catches, 117 yards

    Melvin Ingram DT, South Carolina

3 tackles!?!?! How the f does defensive player of the week go to a guy who only got 3 tackles..I smell a CONSPIRACY!! Well, when those 3 tackles were all sacks, then you have got something, and if you aren't convinced, go to Auburn and ask Cam Newton how it felt to go against Ingram this week and he will shed some light on how tough Melvin played this week in his team's tough 31-21 win over the Tigers.

    Honorable Mentions:

    (1) Jack Tyler (Virginia Tech): 10 tackles
    (2) Cornelius Washington (Georgia): 7 tackles, 1 sack
    (3) Kelvin Cain (Miami): 8 tackles

They covered Hunter just fine, they just couldn't tackle him. His longest was just a dig route that he housed and then split the safeties on another catch and run.
