QB: Michael Ward, Michigan While there were QBs who threw for more yards (like Purdue's Robinson monster day with 524 yards) Ward was the most efficient and error-free quarterback this week. Ward ended the day 8-10 for 264 yards and 2 touchdowns, but what gets him on the list this week is his zero interceptions. Ward led an efficient offense on the day that crushed Notre Dame, 38-19. HB: Marcus Coker, Iowa The Senior halfback led by example this week as Iowa was able to beat Stanford 28-21. Coker ran the ball 16 times for 151 yards and a touchdown, and was a steady force on the offensive side of the ball for Iowa. Oregon State's Malcolm Marable also gets a special mention with his 103 yards and a touchdown in the Beavers win over Penn State. WR: Barret Graham, Purdue On a day like today when your QB throws for 500+ yards, you know that your receivers are going to have a good day. One of 3 Purdue WRs with 100 yards on the day, Graham edges out the other 2 this week. Graham ended the day with 8 catches for 167 yards and 2 TDs. The other WR who got some votes was Oregon's Keanon Lowe, who had 5 catches for 196 yards and 2 TDs in the Ducks loss to TCU. DEF: E.J. Johnson, Purdue The Senior free safety went off this week, totaling 8 tackles, a forced fumble, and an interception. The 6'1, 181 pound safety out of Florida really looked like the real deal this week, and more weeks like this will certainly help him rise up those NFL draft boards come next year, but for now, he is focused on leading the Boilermakers to the Big Ten title.
