Offensive Player of the Week HB Daryl Conley24 Car, 252 Yards, 3 TDs, 2 Rec, 24 Yards When the upstart Bills and the Patriots met in week 4 it was obvious it was going to be a great showdown; a showdown that would prove to be an instant classic. The teams traded punches all game combining for 79 points, but no player was more then Bills HB Daryl Conley. The young HB, and clear favorite for Offensive Rookie of the Year, found pay dirt three times (scoring runs of 49, 69, and 4 yards) while ripping off a monster 10 YPC average. Even though the game came down to a last second field goal, Conley's big play after big play continuously put the Bills in a position to win and atop the AFC East. Defensive Player of the Week CB Dekendrick Seymour1 TCK, 1 INT, 1 Defensive TD Off to a 3-0 start and looking to cap off their long road trip with yet another victory, the Giants met the Buccaneers in what many thought would be an easy victory. A victory it was, but it surely didnt come easy. With the minutes ticking down in the 4th quarter, trailing by a single point, the Buccaneers were driving to setup a go ahead score. Thats when third year corner Dekendrick Seymour would make the play of the game. Seymour would intercept an arrant Josh Freeman pass and take it 59 yards to the house to put the GMen up by 8. His pick six would prove to be enough as the Giants would hold on to win 28-26 in a thriller.
