Below are the power rankings going into bowl season.

Congrats to @gangsta4lyphe and his Spartans. MSU was 6-0 in user games this season and will be playing a rivalry game against Notre Dame for the BCS Championship. This marks the end of Pac-12 dominance in national title games, with Washington winning the first 2 seasons and Colorado winning last season.

Most of the rankings after #1 could be swapped without an argument. But, Georgia Tech seemed to have the best overall wins in user games; winning against Wisconsin by 21 in week 2, then beating North Carolina, and finally destroying Virginia by 5 TD in the ACC title game. The late season losses to MSU and Maryland will have fans wondering what could have been for years to come. The Tar Heels take the #3 spot based mainly on their big victory against Maryland early in the year. Unfortunately, Northwestern didn't stick out the year and the Virginia game had to be simmed, which made it difficult to judge their body of work. California comes in at #4 by virtue of their 2 conference victories against Washington, including a 17-13 victory in the Pac-12 championship. Wisconsin was another team that fell victim to Northwestern not finishing the season. The 21 point loss to Georgia Tech early in the season made it difficult to rank the Badgers ahead of some of the other ACC schools that had great seasons. However, Wisconsin proved themselves to be a rugged team, only losing on a last second FG in the B1G championship game.

The class of the bottom half of the rankings was Maryland. The Terps had a successful season in user games, going 3-1, including a big victory over Georgia Tech. However, a couple midseason sims left them out of the championship game. It was tough to justify moving them ahead of teams that won or played for conference championships, or a North Carolina team they lost to by 3 early in the season. Washington started the season slowly, with 2 user losses. However, they rebounded nicely in conference play, defeating Colorado and ASU to make the conference championship for a rematch with California. The Huskies suffered a 4 point loss in the Pac-12 title game and finished 2-3 in user games for the season. Colorado lost a ton of talent of last season's squad and paid the price against more talented user squads in Wisconsin and Washington. Both losses were by a TD. They did pick up a big win against California late in the year and appear to be playing their best football of the season going into the big bowl matchup against Georgia Tech. Arizona St and Virginia both shit the bed this year, going a combined 0-5 in user matchups.

I don't have enough games in for the new guys to rank them. I look forward to having you two in the rankings next season. Good luck to everyone in the bowl games.

Edit: The Georgia Tech vs Colorado bowl game was played while the rankings were being compiled. Colorado ends the year on a huge upswing, beating California and Georgia Tech by a combined 35 points. Nice work uncleho.
