There have been some questions of how these rankings will be calculated. The weighting of certain factors will change throughout the season. Early in the year, overall team talent level rankings and user games will be weighted more heavily. As the season progresses, the weight of overall team talent rankings drops to nil. User games will be weighted more heavily with a slight weight given to wins against the computer.

The first power rankings saw a great showing by the ACC. Currently, there are 6 ACC teams in the top 25, including all 4 users. However, Michigan St might be the top user team in the nation by virtue of their 2 big wins against Pac-12 opponents Washington and California. Georgia Tech and Virginia also have a legitimate claim to the top post. Fortunately, we get to see the MSU vs Georgia Tech matchup later in the year. Virginia has not played a user game yet this season, so it's difficult to rank them. They have games @ North Carolina and @ Maryland coming up which will define their season.

    1. Michigan St 93 - 89 - 91 5-0 (3-0)

Great job. But Cal would beat 4 of the 6 teams in front of them.

Care to divulge the 4 you'd beat? :)

    Haha, we'll see!

I don't run the option though.

Lol, hating on the ACC eh?

It's all B1G/ACC in front of me.

I just played Gngsta4Lyphe and 4 INTs doomed the Golden Bears. There are some USERS that are amazing are picking off the ball. Last year when I played Raidernation and UW he also picked me off a bunch. I'm just not a great passer in this game. But I can run the ball -- That's why I vote to move the speed back up. Game plays a little slow and I always feel that the defense is faster than my RB regardless of actual attributes.

Well, in the slider set I posted, they'd be moved up. I tagged Hova a couple days ago with the set, but not sure if he implemented them yet.

Cool -- I'd prefer to play out the year then make a drastic change mid-season IMO. I'm not against the ones we have but I'm not married to them either. If Hova wants to change this season, then it's ok with me.

Besides USER INTs, what other expected changes should would expect gameplay-wise in case there is a major slider change mid-season?

Moving the threshold up would make the defense faster, where defensive linemen are outrunning RBs with 95 speed. Reducing it should make the speed difference more noticeable.
