Yo, anyone ever play practice rounds using these settings? If so I'd like to play some. GT BDSDIGITAL I've done some by myself but I'd like to see where I stack up so far. I've only played 5 or 6 rounds on this difficulty.

I should be around tonite to play - MMJuggs45

I've played a round with Ryno and Basis and improved by like 5 strokes from 1st to 2nd time. Figure if I practice enough I might be at Dub-ya level lol

Hell, all I've been able to do is "practice". Just planning on playing Sawgrass at this point, doubt we'll be up in time for that damn course I can't spell, still hoping we (PS3 guys) get to finish Augusta.....

i finally maxed my guy out...and went out and shot a -5 under in the 1st round of the San Antonio tournament. Maybe i'm not "that" bad at this game and it was more my golfer sucked. Want to play Hawaii this weekend though, so definitely hit me up guys

yeah good call. I played the Hawaii course (not even going to try to spell it) a few weeks ago and really stunk. But I'm getting to a point where I can shoot E on most courses if the wind is blowing right, so I'd definitely like to try my hand at that course this weekend. I know when Basis is around usually, when are you around Juggalo?

I'm in Ny. During the week from like 8-11 pm, weekends usually later than that. I'll be on tonite for sure.

Hawaii will see some low scores. Should be a confidence boost for all :)

    Shot a -12 (-11 through 12 holes, parred 13-17 and birdied 18)
followed by a -8(including a 5 putt triple bogey and a 4 putt double bogey)

combined -8 for holes 1-4 on both rounds. (2 eagles, 4 birds)

All of which means i got my good rounds out of the way and ill suck tonight :)

truthfully, i think the weather/winds is going to play a major role in this tournament. i've played the course with low winds and sun and shot 4-5-6 under. and then i played the course with ryno the other day and we had 20 mph winds and we sucked it up with the ball flying everywhere with missed fairways and greens

Yeh Fairways are key here. I took a little off my drives to stay in a few of them.

Greens arent bad once you're on them.

I played a round last night and the course kicked my ass. I think I finished like 5 over.

Were there pins that were what you would deem illegal?

Heh - I dont know, that sounds like a subjective thing.

There were multiple holes were people hit the stroke limit, I'll say that.

    Crazy shit.

Have to agree those pins were crazy. A lot were on hills/sides of hills. I only had 4 pins on a flat part of the green.

Shot a +14 (86) with a 2.33 putt per hole but thats low because on some holes the ball continued to role off into the rough. Some how managed to birdie 6, 7, and 14.

I don't remember any specific hole numbers, but there were a couple that were extremely tough. I wouldn't any of them are impossible though. Keller birdied one of them that me and Del both hit the stroke limit on. Really it was all about hitting the right spot on the green. There were certain spots on some greens that were probably impossible to make a putt from and you would have to lay up and leave yourself a short makeable putt.

For as poorly as I shot (+29 91) it was actually pretty fun. It definitely brought a lot more strategy into where each shot was going. I doubt we would be seeing many -10 rounds on this course lol.

Yeah i played a round and it was ridiculous i would say the best pin placements will be hard for the final round and medium for the first 3 or easy for the 1st round. I shot a 67 but i 2 & 3 putted on alot of holes and it took everything i had. Like Timpegoose said it was fun but damn it will be impossible for even the best player to shot EVEN or BOGEY on some of those pins.

I think I ended up shooting an even 72 but it was an up and down kinda round. I had an eagle, quite a few birdies but also plenty of bogeys etc.
