    User Pre Season All Americans:

    1st Team:

QB- Devin Gardner Michigan- Devin decided to come back for his Senior year to try to get Michigan another B1G Title and possibly a National Championship shot again. Devin has had a great career at Michigan totaling for 3609 yards and 34 touchdowns in the only 2 seasons he's had a chance to get on the field. He will be the leader of the Wolverines and they will go as far as he can take them.

RE- Brennen Beyer Michigan- Brennen is a Junior this season and another Michigan product. He only has one real season of extended playing time but made the most of it in his Sophmore year. He has 17 tackles, 21 assisted tackles, 7 sacks, a forced fumble and a defensive touchdown to his name, most all of that came during his sophomore season as a Wolverine. There is no doubt in anyones mind that he will be the anchor of the Michigan defense.

DT- Tavaris Barnes Clemson- Tavaris is a Senior this season and had great Sophmore and Junior years at Clemson. This year he will be under a new coach, but his talent will just go up. He's totaled for 47 sacks, 32 of them were for a loss, and 22 sacks in 3 seasons (2 with extended playing time). Tavaris is a special player that can get off blocks and get to the ball carrier in the backfield. ACC offenses will have to account for him on every play because the one time they don't, he will be making a big play for the Tiger defense.

DT- Todd Peat Nebraska- While Nebraska has not had the seasons they would have liked to have the past 2 years, they still have talent. Todd is a big guy at 6'3 313 and gives offensive line coaches a headache game after game. Todd has totaled for 34 tackles, 26 were for a loss, 13 sacks, 4 forced fumbles, and a defensive touchdown to his name. He's been the anchor of the Nebraska D the past 2 seasons and will be looking for a breakout season this year to really separate himself from the other DT's on the All American list.

ROLB- Zachary Allen Wake Forest- Wake Forest has a special player in Allen. He's a 2 year starter that has racked up 136 tackles, 40 of them for a loss, 4.5 sacks, 8 picks, 2 tis, and 7 forced fumbles. This guy is a very accomplished linebacker already, and he will look to add to that in his Senior season. Allen can make plays on the QB, on your RB, or even play great coverage. A great all around linebacker that anyone in the nation would like to have. He will look to lead Wake to yet another ACC Championship game.

CB- Garry Peters Clemson- Gary is a 2 year starter that has 16 pass deflections and 9 interceptions in his 2 seasons as a starter for Clemson. With a new coaching staff though, this could change the way he covers players. Regardless of the change though, he'll still be locking down opposing teams number 1 receivers rather it be in Man or zone. Another big time senior that adds yet another weapon to the Tiger defense. Throw at this guy if you want, but don't be surprised if they start calling him Peters Island after this season.

    2nd team:

RB- Doug Gentry Purdue- The Boilermakers had a great season last year that put them in the B1G championship. The last 2 seasons, they've been known to have great running backs. Add Doug Gentry to the list and he's only a Junior. His Sophmore season, he rushed for just under 1500 yard, averaging 6.5 YPC and 101.2 YPG, to go with 11 TDs. He will be a tough man to bring down and in the Purdue offense, he will for sure get a lot of carries. Opposing defenses will have to use extra men to account for this guy which should open up some passing lanes.

WR- Dominique Terrell Virginia- Dominque had a modest 28 receptions last year after having 39 the previous year, but still came up with 812 yards and 11 touchdowns. He has 1691 yards and 19 touchdowns in his 3 seasons as a Cavalier. Virginia didn't have their best season last year, but already upsetting Wisconsin this year, look for Terrell to have another strong year and lead the Cavaliers back to the success they were used to before last seasons minor setback.

TE- Sean Fitzpatrick North Carolina- Sean came to Chapel Hill as more of a blocking tight end but with his 58 receptions last year, he proved he could do much more than just block. He was a main weapon of the UNC pass offense last year with 932 yards and 6 touchdowns, he'll look to stay involved and possibly be even more involved this next season. UNC is having great seasons and top 10 finishes but has yet to make it to the ACC Championship game. Look for that to change this year with Fitzpatrick being a main reason why.

LE- Joe Gore Clemson- This Junior has 1 season under his belt as a starter and made the most of it having 22 tackles, all for a loss, to go with 13.5 sacks. He also forced and recovered a fumble. This guy is just more talent to add to an already talented defensive unit for the Tigers. The ceiling his high for Gore and the Tigers, and if they can just put up the numbers they had last year, they'll be a great team. If they put up even better numbers, there is no telling how good this team can be.

LE- Austin Harrison Nebarska- Austin is only a Sophmore this season and is part of a great recruiting class that Nebraska continues to put together. His freshman season he had 17 tackles, 13 for loss, and 6 sacks. He also had an interception and 6 pass deflections at the line. Very impressive, especially for a defensive end. He should have a good season, especially in B1G play against the teams that like to run, or QBs that like to hold the ball for a little longer than they should.

CB- Merrill Noel Wake Forest- Another Demon Deacon on the All American team. Noel tested the draft waters, but ultimately decided it would be in his best interest to return to school. Noel had 7 interceptions last season, 7 deflections, and 2 touchdowns. He also won the best returner award. This guy looks to improve his draft stock in his Senior season and also help Wake to another ACC division title. After the season he had last year, I wouldn't' be surprised to see him on the 1st team All Americans instead of the 2nd team.

CB- Blake Countess Michigan- He is a 1 season starter and this Junior is back to prove he's one of the best secondary players in the B1G. He had 7 interceptions and 1 defensive touchdown to go along with 8 pass deflections. This will probably be his last year in Michigan so he should make a lasting impact.

FS- Corey Cooper Nebraska- Yet another Cornhusker on the All American team. Their defense is loaded this year and Corey just adds to it. He finished with 37 tackles last year, 11 for losses, 3 picks and 5 deflections along with 1 touchdown He has received playing time the last 3 years, but only significant time last year. This year he will be starting all season and could be a key player for their passing defense.

KR- Torrey Campbell Iowa- He's totaled for 1685 yards on 63 returns and 2 touchdowns. Torrey is only in his Junior season and has already made a huge impact not he nation. It will be tough though with Wake returning their Returner of the year, but look for Torrey to still be one of the top returns in the nation again this season.
