    Pre-Season Outlook: Ohio Bobcats

The pre-season is upon us here in Athens, Ohio and the buzz around Peden Stadium is the new coaching staff here at Ohio University. First year head coach Robert Garrison has been brought in to replace the recently retired Frank Solich and his staff.

Asked what would be Coach Garrison's biggest challenge he has to face this year and this is his response:

"We have a lot of question marks on both sides of the ball that weren't really ironed out this spring and you add that with a pretty tough schedule to start the season and you're going to see a team that has to mature very fast, on a very quick learning curve!....and that goes for the coaches as well!!"

    Offensive Outlook:
The Ohio offense is lead by Senior signal-caller Boo Jackson and senior wideout Lavon Brazill who are hoping to jump start a Bobcat passing attack that fizzled out in the latter stages of last season. The running game is spear headed by senior Vince Davidson who will get a bulk of the carries in a very limited backfield this year.

    Defensive Outlook:
The Defensive group for the Bobcats will be lead by Senior MLB Noah Keller. The Senior defensive captain is going to be a pivotal piece of the new 4-2-5 Stack scheme implemented by the new coaching staff. The Coaching staff is hoping the defensive front can help get pressure to the QB to help an oft-undermanned secondary and for the most part often underwhelming to say the least.

Bobcat Football is back and we'll see you here Week 7 for the mid-season report!

Played against Ohio in an offline dynasty. Boo Jackson is no slouch at QB. Good luck man, looking forward to the mid-season report.
