edit: TW/juggs/bruce if you want a game the seahawks are down. But overall i'm not too concerned who you guys give me.

the point of preseason is to play under regular season conditions for clock and settings to see how they play.

If 12 accelerated seems too long, we will adjust accordingly..

I vote for shorter QTRs as well, it was a long winded game. Fun but very long

Im with Hova I think 9 would be good, 10 at the most. It just seems drawn out, but it has only been a game thats why Im glad we have this mini preseason so we can get things settled. Im down with whatever just my take.

Just played a game against Juggs.

    Seahawks 27 @ Bills 22

The game was played with slightly different settings (Juggs did that on accident): 11 minutes, 15 sec. accelerated clock.

I really think that the settings should be something like 9 minute quarters, no accelerated clock. The reason for saying that, is that there were several times where I called a play relatively quickly, and didn't even have time to audible a guy to block or something. It really gets frustrating. The whole point of going with a shorter game than 15 minutes seems to be missed by then putting accelerated clock in addition.

Anyway, the game stats looked like this

    Code:
    Seahawks Bills
      27 Score 22
     214 total off 290
      24 rush yds 60
     190 pass yds 230
      10 1st Downs 15
       1 Turnovers 2

It was weird, because it didn't seem like I was doing anything right on defense but we still kept holding them to field goals and didn't give up a tremendous number of yards in the end. it also felt like we couldn't get them off the field, but they went 7-14 on third downs. Sadly, we went 1-6!

There were only two penalties in the whole game.

i know, just seems like we could get to the regular season quicker if we just skip the preseason.

edit: i see now, to test the settings and all.

totally agree with helli, i would make it 8 or 9 min qtrs and drop the acc clock. it really hampers your ability to audible since most times you don't break the huddle until about 12-13 secs left. other than that though, the only other thing might be to increase penalty settings because we didn't have any i don't think.

you show me an NFL team that breaks the huddle at 20 seconds.... it doesn't happen. That's part of being sim.. in the NFL you don't have more than 10 seconds to audible at the line. Same should be for us... you have the chance to make one quick change to your play call at the line... not rifle through 20 different hot routes/line shifts etc...

good point...if anything it hinders the defense more than the offense. no time to adjust coverage. ideally if it was accelerated to 15 secs left on the playclock, rather than 15 secs sped up, it would be good. but last night vs helli, alot of times we were breaking the huddle at 12, getting to the line at 8, it's snap and go.

    The Colts.

I tried to audible my FB to block and my TE to block. Is that 20 audibles? I love the chiefs/indians comment of course. Classic you.
