    Big XII 1st Team Defense

    Position Name Team
    DL Jeremy Beal Oklahoma
    DL Jared Crick Nebraska
    DL Sam Acho Texas
    DL Aldon Smith Missouri
    LB Von Miller Texas A&M
    LB Travis Lewis Oklahoma
    LB Brian Duncan Texas Tech
    CB Aaron Williams Texas
    CB Prince Amukamara Nebraska
    S Blake Gideon Texas
    S Trent Hunter Texas A&M

-LB/DE Von Miller, Texas A&M: totaled 48 tackles, 21.5 for loss, forced 4 fumbles, and broke up 5 passes. Also led the nation in sacks with 17. Now with Texas A&M implementing a 3-4, look for Miller to get off the end and more space to work with. His speed is a unmatched and his explosiveness off the line is amazing.

    - LB Travis Lewis, Oklahoma: 109 tackles 9.5 for loss, 1 INT, 1 sack. Mr. Consistent, as a Freshman he had 144 tackles and is the conferences top returning tackler. He's not flashy, just gets the job done.

    - DE Aldon Smith, Missouri: Recorded 11 sacks and 19.5 tackles for loss as a Freshman. His 2009 season was good enough to be named Defensive Freshman of the Year.

-CB Aaron Williams, Texas: 34 tackles, 3 INT, 2 sacks. His numbers might not jump out at you, thats because he is the best cover corner in the conference and QB's don't want to throw to his side. He will led a very experienced Longhorn secondary, in what is a pass happy Big XII
