Preseason is up and running. We will advance to week 1 tomorrow night.
The number 1 recruit from last year Andy Watson is an 88 with 95 speed as a freshmen. He will be number 2 on the depth chart behind Jeff Demps.
USF welcomes FSU transfer TE Beau Reliford. This kid is big and fast. He is going to take a redshirt this year (Junior) and should provide at least 1 year of exceptional TE play for the Bulls.
Speaking of USF TEs... I have this kid at TE he is 6'6 250lb or something and is rated as a 78(i think) QB. He is going to be third on my Depth chart at QB while the pretty decent frosh QB I snagged takes a RS. Of course, I think if it came down to it and I had to go to my 3rd string against a user or some other clutch situation I'd probably burn the RS and use my true fresh QB.
Feel free to discuss...Who is getting too much preseason love? Who is getting effed? etc..
Can't really argue with the top 5, although I will admit I was surprised that Pitt was #5 even considering they are the returning champs. I've seen returning title teams in the middle tier come in anywhere from #10 to #25 the following season.
There will likely be some shakeup in the top 5 early, as I've scheduled some big user games with all those teams in the first 4 weeks.
Texas has too many question marks to be rated #2. The hype machine is working overtime in Austin. Breaking in a new QB is not the way to start a National Title season.
I don't feel like I have enough speed on defense to keep up with the floridas or the world.
I wouldn't be so sure joe, I won the title in 2010 and 2011 with Texas in C2C, with Sherrod Harris and Garrett Gilbert leading the way, and the defense was the key really. Especially the safeties, I loved having the 4-5 junior and senior FS's and SS's those years, the ones that didn't start were my nickel and dime backs. My defense was great in those two seasons.
Texas is a small drop below Florida in talent, but not by very much.
As in the other leagues, I am having a tough time finding a playbok that I really like. I like A&M's 5 WR plays, but the rest are just ok. I want a spread offense, but still with decent power running plays too.
I think I am still in depression and down about the thrashing i took at the hands of Hokie in OFFL-E last night. I was 3-0 against users in that season, and thought maybe I was actually a decent player...
Just rethinking a lot of my offense at this point.
Check out Miami(FL) playbook. They have 5wide and a lot of good running formations
Oklahoma, Texas, and USF are all over rated.
Tennessee and Auburn are under rated.
UT Coach Reccheem should be getting the hang of the game by now and should be more competitive.
We like that....shhhhhhh
I bet your preseason rank is 26-39 though. You'll be ranked early in the season, assuming you win your first couple games.
Wow, strong words on the over rated side, especially against USF who pounded you last year. Hopefully you can back that smack up on the field vs max this season.
Hey, I'm not afraid to stir the pot. If you want something to be politically correct, go to work hahaha.
Whatever you need for motivation is fine with me, man.
Vols could go 0-4 out of the gate with 4 consecutive user games (K State, LSU, Florida and Cincy). If I can somehow manage to split these four, good things may happen this season!
You better plan on beating K State and LSU then.
Man Gators is on a role today!!!
USF knows better than to fall for preseason rankings! The only that matters is the one at the end of the year (and I came in 2nd in that one last year).
hahaha, just trying to get a rise out of you guys.
Sorry about those 4 user games, your schedule just didn't really open up for me to spread them out more.
No, its cool. At least I'll know right away where my team stands!
Or go by the saying..."if you're going to lose, lose early"
Separate names with a comma.
